"Legendary Beast..." I read out loud while Calem and I were in a café for breakfast. I bought the book Nurse May was talking about and started reading it while Calem was helping me walk to the café since I wasn't looking where I was going
"They are much like the Legendary Birds of Kanto, Articuno, Zaptos, and Moltres. These beast are from Johto. These Beast, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, were once Pokémon commonly known to others, who were revived by the legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh and now roam the land with their power. Raikou will create lighting storms, Suicune would make it rain and purify water, and Entei moves the earth with volcanos..." I chewed on my lip while turning the page of the Tower Duo
"Hmhmhm..." I read along till I found a fact about these two "Lugia is known for creating massive storms and Ho-Oh is said to make the sun beaming, also... when you see it flying, you'll be granted happiness" I frowned and kept turning to find the time travel fairy
"Celebi is said to travel through time to stop forest from burning... It's known as the guardian of the forest" I stared at the picture next to its story and remembered how it was the one that helped me find mom's gift for me... It seemed more sensitive towards me than the others who kept messing with me
I skipped through some other Pokémon after reading their descriptions and found the lunar duo. The crescent moon Pokémon that put me to sleep and erased my memory of everything, and the Dark Pokémon with blue eyes that was chasing me in my dreams were in the picture above the description
"Darkrai represents the new moon that has no light and creates darkness among the night and brings forth nightmares. Cresselia represents the full moon, which holds peace, hope and good dreams. Good dreams that are brought by the lunar wing when nightmares hit and cause the sleeper to stay asleep until Cresselia flies by to give hope" I bit my lips hard and threw the book on the ground. How can all that be possible? Why is it that these legendary Pokémon, of all Pokémon, would mess with an ordinary girl like me? How could Cresselia erase my good memories of my Meowstic and Calem? Why would Lugia make that storm and throw me into the ocean? Why would Celebi say having this life when my dad started getting violent is for the better good? Why would those legendary beast cause my fall from the cliff? I don't understand...
Then I remembered that Pokémon with the horns and rings on them. It had to be the cause of the hoop portals. It's bringing the Legendaries to me! It has to be a Legendary too! I picked up the book again and found a page I found all the way in the back. There was a four-legged blue Pokémon with rainbow antlers on its head surrounded by the forest... This is the Pokémon I saw before I met Calem... Xerneas. This is the one legendary Pokémon that never did anything, just made me wonder
I turned the page and saw a red-winged Pokémon with a large tail, making the body look like a Y and surrounded by fire and smoke. This Pokémon, Yveltal, seemed strangely familiar to me... Why is that?
"What makes you so interested in legendaries for some reason?" Calem asked before sipping the coffee. I stared at these two Pokémon for a while.
"Nothing really..."
"Did they have to do with your nightmare?" I furrowed my brows
"Some of them" he nodded and paid for the food "hey" I looked at him "will you stop paying for me!" He chuckled and helped me stand. He stared at my sleeveless white and blue striped shirt, blue jeans, and light blue hat he bought me back when I first told him my name. I now understood why he was so happy and treating me like a princess.
"No can do. A princess shouldn't pay for her meal. That's her knight's job" I blushed and walked away.
"We're not kids anymore, Calem" he chuckled.
