Chapter 33: Wish

I was surrounded by nothing but white now... "Lady Yvonne?" I looked up and saw something white and yellow, like a star with blue ribbons on its points, flying around me

"Who are you?" It stopped flying and faced me. I know this Pokémon... It's a mythical Pokémon! Jirachi! The wish maker! "You're Jirachi" it nodded happily and flew around. I followed it

"You're as sharp as when you were a baby!" That's what the last legendary said

"What? Are you here to kill me too?" I looked around at the whiteness "am I already dead?"

"Oh, heavens no! We will never allow you to die. You're too important" I made a face

"Then why-"

"It's destiny!" It cheered "you have a duty to fulfill if you want to keep living!" My blood just sank

"Excuse me? What is this destiny everyone is talking about?"

"That's for us to know, and you to find out" it winked "I'm not allowed to say this, but you are very important, Yvonne. We legendaries and mythical Pokémon are here to keep the world in balance! In order to do that... We have to decide your future."

"Decide my future? but I don't want my future to be decided!" It shook its head

"You may let the future go as you please, but there's a future where we have to decide everything you do. So far, everything is in according to plan" it frowned "including your meeting with Brian" I started crying.

"How could you..? What did I do so bad that I had to be treated like this? Why do you have to decide my future? Why not someone else!?"
