"This is ridiculous!" Derek shouted at me "you were here for only a few days and you're already a fucking Viscountess!?" I twirled around in my navy blue cape I was given a few minutes ago after beating a Baroness that happens to be his girlfriend. They're total opposites. She's so sweet, and he's been a pain in the ass since I've been here

I pocket my new blue Vicountess membership card that had two stars on the top corner and not one punch was on the bottom squares. Beating ten baronesses and barons was not hard at all. It only took me a few days.

"Well I'm sorry," I told him, not really sorry "and stop yelling at me. Just say or do what you want to do and get it over with. It's obvious you want something" he flinched and took a step back. I looked at his red face confused

"I want nothing..." I stared at him looking away before shrugging and walking up to Viola

"Congrats Serena! We'll end up battling one day!" I nodded with a smile

"You sure I can't return this?" I showed her her badge

"Keep it. I want you to use that and make it possible so that you can challenge the next gym leader" I smirked.

"Ah, that's what you were up to" she nodded ashamed "you want me to keep your badge until I get them all."

"Yeah..." I looked at the badge and put it back in my bag

"Alright, I'll keep it for now" she shot a thumbs up.

"Good luck out there!" I waved and walked out the Battle Chateau. I was given a room in the Chateau so that I could be comfortable there. Hennessy said that if my bag gets full, I can put my things in the room like it's my own apartment... Sweet!

Eevee led the pathway in front of me while I skated casually. It was nice being in that place, but all good things have to end when it comes to my dad... I will not go back home. I won't!

"Ee!" I looked down confused and saw Eevee looking at a blue Meowstic rushing over to us with a excited smile

"Meowstic?" I asked. It jumped high and landed in my arms for a hug "wait a minute... Aren't you Calem's Pokémon?"

"Meowstic! What's gotten into you?!" I looked up at Calem running over to us. I flinched and frowned. I haven't seen Calem since the day I ran away from him... I had made the mistake of telling him I was from Vaniville Town. I had tried telling him that I really wasn't, even though I was... I don't even think it matters anymore... I'm starting to not care about a lot of things anymore. I think it's because all I can think about is this stupid pain on my back.

"Serena..." Calem looked surprised to see me, then frowned "you okay?" I nodded and looked down shyly

"Yeah... I'm sorry I ran from you. I wasn't feeling well then..." His finger lifted up my chin, letting me see his smile. My cheeks burned up at the sight

"Don't worry about that, I'm just glad you're okay" I sighed "hey, how about a new O-Power to get that smile back on your face?" I couldn't help but smile and gave him back his Meowstic

"Too late" he followed me skating ahead.

"Have you been using them?" I nodded

"I have. They helped me become a Viscountess in just a few days in the Battle Chateau."

"Wow, that's awesome of you" he reached to my side and held my hand. I flinched and looked down at it. This feeling... "I'm glad you made them handy" I smiled.

"I have! Have you been selling them to others?" He sighed and shook his head

"I don't know what's up with people. I guess you're the only cool one" I chuckled and skated around him while he still walks.
