Chapter 67: Ceremony-

Sycamore had called me the other day, telling me about the plan he told me about probably three months ago. At the moment, I was getting ready for the ceremony for congratulating my friends and me for saving Kalos. After the news of Team flare and Lysandre's death had settled down, the ceremony was about to take place in an appropriate time. Not only was this ceremony for thanking my friends and me for saving Kalos, but it was also to introduce me as my title of the returning princess and Calem as the new champion.

I've spent my time at the castle while doing paperwork. This time compared to the other time I stayed here after Lysandre's death, I had visitors. My friends all came to visit me with the appropriate clothing so they wouldn't be so cold in the castle. I've seen almost them all of the time, all except calem, who I haven't seen since leaving him in Vaniville Town. Shauna explained that he took his time to train before heading to the league, which he also took his time to go through. Shauna still wasn't use to the fact that she had a big sister, but she's confident in her family's roots.

When discussing Shauna's family and her connection to Diantha, Valerie actually overheard and stayed quiet about it for a very long time. As I'm getting ready to head out to Lumoius city with Leo, Valerie still hasn't mentioned anything when hearing about Calem actually being a royal

"Do you think shes actually going to come?" I asked as Froslass fixed the ends of my lavender laced dress that reached down to my feet. Leo didn't answer my question during the process of perfecting the angle of where he was placing my tiara

"You have a big head. This is kind of hard..." I glared and aimed to punch him, but he backed off before I could touch him "Just kidding, you look lovely" I huffed and crossed my arms as his teasing "but to answer your question, she is a gym leader. She might be busy."

"Well I mean, I get that part... but I want to know what she thinks about Calem actually being a prince! She was so negative towards my feelings for him that she didn't want to listen to me" I sighed "She found out a few weeks ago when Shauna came, and Valerie hasn't spoken to me since."

"She was probably ashamed to be the one to keep you from your happiness. It's probably like one of those times when you know you want something, and the other person knows its not the right way and try to correct you, only to find out they shouldn't' had said anything in the first place" I sweatdropped

"I see what you're trying to make an example, but that whole explanation is literally Valerie and me" he softly pushed my back to walk me to the main room where Hoopa was waiting for us

"Be quiet. Let's just head to this freaking ceremony. I'm not a big fan of crowds, so let's get this over with..." I nodded and approached Hoopa flying around Wonder and my Glacion. Glacion was miserable just staying in one place, so I fixed his ice stone to only never leave the castle instead of that room. He sat next to the shiny Glacion that I also helped

"Hey everyone" I smiled

"Wow! You look so pretty!" Glacion cheered

"Beautiful!" Wonder smiled. Everyone in the castle complimented me on my appearance. I played with my very bright white hair curled from the bottom up.

"Thank you, everyone..." The Mistress lowered her head to me

"Princess, you look so much like the White Queen... I bet she's looking down on you now to see how beautiful you are" I blushed, knowing she was indeed on my side "I have a message for you from your caretaker."

"Valerie?" I didn't expect this

"She arrived around the middle of the night, not wanting to disturb you. She told me how guilty she felt for wanting to take you away from the prince, and feels that you must hate her for not letting you be happy."
