POV TWILIGHT

It was about two o'clock in the afternoon when I was getting ready to go out with Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. I told my parents that I was going out with them and went out the door. Rarity's car was parked in front of my house, with the usual friendly driver driving.

- Hurry up, dear! - shouted Rarity from the window.

I got into the back of the car, where Rarity was sitting. She greeted me with a tight hug.

- Pinkie told me to meet her at the Sugarcube Corner - said Rarity, letting go of the hug.

- Where is Fluttershy? - I asked.

- Let's meet her at the animal adoption center - she replied - I hope she doesn't take too long to say goodbye to the animals again.

- We'll hurry her - I joked.

As soon as we arrived in front of the adoption center, Fluttershy was talking to a couple whose man was holding a leash with a little dog in it.

Rarity asked the driver to press the horn. As soon as the driver performed the act, the dog began to bark at the car, being interrupted by Fluttershy who calmed him down.

Fluttershy said goodbye to the couple and the dog, and then got into the car. He greeted us with his usual kind voice and had a lively smile on his face.

- You are happy - said Rarity - I can even imagine the reason.

- Sorry, I can't help it - he replied with a smile - another little animal was adopted today, our adoptions are increasing, we already have a few more free spaces to bring new street animals!

- Congratulations Shy! - I celebrated - this is certainly great news.

- Tell me about it! - added Rarity - I can't even imagine how many pets will need help, they may be hungry, cold, without elegant and warm clothes! What a disaster!

I rolled my eyes with Rarity's dramatic voice, Fluttershy giggled, but agreed with her. Unfortunately, Rarity was not wrong, there were several animals in the city that needed help, but the center did not have room for all of them. Therefore, the more adoptions Fluttershy could make, the more space for new animals was left.

The car stopped in front of the Sugarcube Corner and we got out of the vehicle. Rarity thanked the driver and we entered the bakery together. Pinkie was waiting for us at one of the tables and waved frantically as soon as she saw us. She got up and ran to us, involving everyone in a group hug.

- Although I'm glad you arrived - said Pinkie - I was dying to see you!

- It's great to see you too, Pinkie - greeted Fluttershy.

- Likewise - I said - but I think we will have broken bones if we continue in this hug.

Pinkie laughed and went back to the table where she was at the time of our arrival. We joined her and at the same time Mrs. Cake brought the menu. We ordered some various snacks and sweets to give to everyone and delivered the menus back.

- Since our food will take a while - Rarity crossed his hands and supported his face on them - what are the news of the weekend?

- Technically it's still the weekend, today is Sunday - I corrected it, fixing my glasses.

- Saturday's news then - said Rarity with a smile.

- Well, I had pizza for dinner, isn't that amazing?! - said Pinkie - it was so much fun! Me, Maud and Mudbriar ended up with two big pizzas!

- Hey, wait, come back to the tape - interrupted Rarity - We met Maud, your monosyllabic sister, but who the hell is Mudbriar??

- You never told us about anyone called Mudbriar - I commented.

- Ah, he's Maud's new boyfriend - Pinkie said naturally while Rarity was open-mouthed - he's very strange, he doesn't talk much, but he seems to be good for her, if Maud is happy, I'm happy! He also loves to talk "technically", he looks a lot like Twilight.

- I don't speak so much "technically" - I defended myself.

- Well, you kind of said a few minutes ago - interfered Fluttershy - and in fact, you say that often.

I had no more arguments, I just crossed my arms and leaned my back on the bench. Pinkie and Fluttershy exchanged laughs. Rarity continued with her mouth open.

- Are you okay Rarity? - I asked - I think you'd better close your mouth before your chin is on the floor.

- Is Maud dating?! - Rarity exclaimed incredulous - I can't believe it!

- Why not? - asked Fluttershy.

- Because, well - Rarity wrapped up in words - you know, it's Maud!

- You need to be very clear - I said, confused.

- Why don't you believe Maud is dating? - Pinkie asked, arching her eyebrow.

- Ah, sorry if you got it wrong Pinkie - Rarity realized your discomfort - your sister is monosyllabic but is beautiful, elegant, intelligent, funny, a wonderful woman, but I never thought she was someone who actually dated!

- I'll have to agree with Rarity on this - I declared - Maud doesn't seem to be the kind of person who shows many... emotions.

- Ah! She does, but in her own way - laughed Pinkie - but I'm sure Mudbriar's friends think the same thing about him, the two are very similar, for sure if you saw them together you would know how much they like each other just by looking at them!

Our orders arrived a few minutes later. While we were eating, Fluttershy told about the adoption center for Pinkie, and even increased the news with more details for me and Rarity. Even at that time, Rarity shared with us some of her new print ideas that she would like to suggest for her mother's store and how excited she was to be able to help at work. We were about to finish our snack when they decided to ask me about the weekend.

- And you, Twilight? - asked Rarity - what do you have to tell us?

- I don't have much to tell - I shrugged - the most exciting thing yesterday was a hot chocolate.

- I think it's better not to talk about candy in front of Pinkie - said Fluttershy - or she will ask for something else.

- That's it for today - said Pinkie Pie - I want to save space for today's dinner dessert!

- Ah, Twilight! - complained Rarity - there must be something you want to tell us!

- Well - I swallowed the dry - there's something, yes, but it's not that good.

- What? - the three of them asked.

- Last night I received a call, but unfortunately the one who was calling was Timber, through Gloriosa's cell phone - I revealed.

- That worm! - snorted Rarity, angry - I can't believe he hasn't overcome the breakup yet!

- I thought the block would work - said Pinkie - that boy doesn't give up.

- Are you okay, Twilight? - Fluttershy asked, holding my hand over the table.

- Now I'm fine yes - I shook your hand - but I had some difficulty sleeping.

The three of them gave me worried and affectionate looks. Rarity, who was sitting next to me, put her hand on my shoulder.

- Honey - she squeezed my shoulder lightly - anything, you know you can call us, right?

- We are here for whatever you need - said Fluttershy.

- That's it! - Pinkie agreed - if I need to arrest that boy in a candy house and fatten him until I can roast him, I'll do it!

- I don't think this will be necessary Pinkie - I laughed - but I'm very grateful to all of you for the support, really.

- That's what friends are for - said Fluttershy - what do you think about eating again?

- I think it's a great idea, before Pinkie finishes everything - joked Rarity.

- I think so too - laugh - let's finish!
