POV SUNSET

I was used to waking up at ten o'clock on weekends, but that Sunday I got up around eleven o'clock, with noises in the kitchen. The two mattresses were empty and I was the only person in bed. I stretched out of my bed. Looking at the kitchen, I saw Aria messing with the cabinets and Sonata sitting messing with her cell phone. I went down the stairs still yawning and sat at the table next to Sonata.

- Good morning, flower of the day - joked Sonata - how did you spend the night?

- I had a good time, good morning to you too - I yawned once again - good morning Aria.

- Sleeping Beauty woke up - mocked.

- I don't think I could wait a morning with you without any kind of debauchery - I laughed.

Aria and Sonata agreed and continued to do their things. I noticed, then, that Adagio was not there. I took a brief look at the apartment, but it seems that she wasn't there.

- Where is Adagio? - I asked.

- It was at the market - said Aria, without taking her eyes off the cabinets that she seemed to be rolling for a while - where did you put the frying pan?

- Third cabinet on the left - I replied - why do you want a frying pan?

- I asked her to make me a breakfast taco - explained Sonata - and as she always does when I ask...

- I do it because I'm afraid you'll set the kitchen on fire - Aria said.

- It was only once! - Sonata defended herself.

I laughed at the situation. I heard the door opening and, when I turned around, I could see Adagio with some bags in his hands. I got up and went to her, extending my hand.

- Let me help, it seems heavy - I offered.

- Are you calling me a weak Shimmer? - Adagio laughed as he passed me some bags.

- Never - I took the bags and smiled.

We dropped the bags on the table and then sat down. Aria was on the stove, already making Sonata's taco, which still moved her cell phone.

- I have to go to work in the afternoon - said Adagio - and these two were to tidy up the house, so we're going out before noon.

- All right, I'm glad you came - I thanked you - I don't think I would have lunch for all of us, I haven't made my market list yet.

- I thought not - Adagio laughed - that's why I bought something for you.

Stirring in the bags, Adagio took out a frozen bacon pizza. I took it with difficulty, I was still not awake enough to get used to the ice. I thanked Adagio and put the pizza in the freezer.

- It's ready - warned Aria to Sonata - bring the dish here.

Sonata left the table with a jump and put the plate next to the frying pan. Aria carefully put the snack on the plate and left the frying pan next to the sink.

- It's perfect! - Sonata cheered up - thank you.

Sonata gave an affectionate kiss on Aria's cheeks, who had a red tone on her skin and a little smile on her face. Sonata didn't even notice Aria's reaction, her focus was the bat, and only the bat.

I thanked everyone for the company, again, when it was time for them to go home. Aria and Sonata, despite insisting a lot, could not escape the homework that Adagio asked them to do.

The rest of the day was quiet, without light drops or anxiety attacks. My day boiled down to playing and eating the first thing I saw in my closet. In the evening, I prepared my school stuff, totally without any emotion for the next day.

POV TWILIGHT

Rarity gave me a ride to my house at the end of the afternoon. I thanked the driver and slammed the car door, which moved away and disappeared from my sight. I opened the gate and entered the house.

- Finally you arrived - I heard a familiar voice coming from the room.

- Shinning Armor! - I exclaimed, euphoric.

I ran to my brother and jumped into his arms, giving him a tight hug. Next to him, Cadence was standing, watching the scene with an affectionate countenance. I let go of my brother and hugged my sister-in-law. My parents, sitting on the couch, watched the scene happily.

- What are you doing here? - I asked - I thought you were bogged down with work in Manehattan.

- And we are - Cadence laughed.

- But... - I got confused - why are you here then?

- We have news to tell you - Shinning said, indicating for me to sit on the couch in front of them - our parents already know.

I looked at my parents, who were happy and nodded to me, asking me to sit down. I obeyed and looked at my brother, hopeful.

- Well - my brother scratched the back of his neck - I'm not sure how to tell this.

- Love, you told your parents very easily - Cadence said.

- But it's my little sister, it's different - Shinning implied.

- Speak soon - I asked, lengthening the last vowel.

- Well, Twily - my brother hugged Cadence on the side - Cadence and I are going to have a baby!

My mouth made a perfect O. I looked at my parents looking for confirmation and they laughed at the way I reacted. My brother would be a father, which could only mean...

- So - I gradually formed a nervous smile - am I going to be an aunt?

Everyone nodded. My smile, previously nervous, turned into an excited smile. I jumped and hugged Shinning and Cadence at the same time. Then I let them go and breathed a little better, my record had not yet fallen.

- I don't believe it, I'm going to be an aunt - he said, more to myself than to others - I'm going to be an aunt!

Spike went down the stairs, he was probably woken up by the noise I had made. I took him on my lap and tickled his belly.

- Spike, I'm going to be an aunt! - I held him in front of me, getting an excited look from the puppy - I'm going to be an aunt!

- And we're going to be grandparents! - my parents said, hugging me.

- And I'm going to be a mother - Cadence joined the hug.

- And I'm going to be a father! - Shinning joined too, excited, but then his smile was worried - wait, oh my God, I'm going to be a father.

We laughed at my brother, who seemed to have remembered what was waiting for him. My father put his hand on Shinning's shoulder and patted him on the back.

- It's my son - my father laughed - welcome to the group of dads.
