POV SUNSET
- Do I really need to take anything? - I asked again, turning over my backpack.
It was a Saturday of detention, at least for those who were not invited to study at the library. We informed Celestia that I was going to accompany Rainbow in her studies and she seemed happy that I spent some time out of detention. Before we left the room, she informed us of the time when we should go to the library. I asked Rainbow to stop by my apartment so we could go to school together.
- We're going to study, it's obvious that you have to take something - he replied, crossing his arms - it's just a pencil and a notebook, it's not difficult!
- You know I hate carrying things - I got up, closing the zipper of the backpack.
- Not everything in life is flowers - mocked.
- Let's go at once - I put the backpack on my shoulder - there should still be time to get a coffee at the Sugarcube Corner.
We got on Rainbow's bike, she handed me a spare helmet, put on yours, and then started the bike. It was to be expected that I, still sleepy due to a marathon of games at dawn, would be slower than Rainbow Dash. My reflection was good enough for me to quickly hold on to the girl in front of me and not fall off the bike
- RAINBOW DASH! - I screamed in your ear - I could at least have warned you!
- It's good for you to wake up! - He laughed.
We arrived at the Sugarcube Corner after a few minutes. The door bell echoed through the place. We heard a beat coming from the counter and, soon after, Pinkie Pie appeared from under him, massaging his head.
- Welcome, how can I help? - recited the programmed phrase, without seeing that it was us who had entered.
- Are we the ones who need help? - I joked, referring to the beat she had given.
Pinkie stopped massaging her head and quickly directed her gaze at me and Rainbow Dash. A huge smile appeared on her face, it didn't even look like she had been injured.
- Hi guys! - greeted, excited - what are you doing here?
- Buying food, what else? - Rainbow replied.
- I think the beat was stronger than I thought - I mocked - apparently someone decided to do an extra shift.
- Oh, you know how it is, I love this place - she ran her eyes through the tables of satisfied customers - Mrs. Cake is sick and I offered to work in her place today.
- I hope she gets well soon - I commented.
- Yes, it will, it's just a cold - Pinkie smiled - so girls, what can I do for you today?
- Two espressos and a box of donuts - Rainbow asked and gave a wink - those you know I love.
- Leaving for yesterday!
A minute passed and Pinkie came up with our request. We pay, thank you and wish a good job to our friend, who was already preparing another order. We got on the bike and left for school. I didn't have to worry about falling off the bike, Rainbow probably valued the safety of the donuts, maybe more than mine.
We entered the school calmly, drinking our coffees and talking. We took the different path of detention, entering the library. For a school library, it was a very spacious and large place, with some scattered tables and a lot of books, a lot of books. No one was answering, since it was Saturday. Slowly, we enter the library and look for the tables anyone who would supposedly study with us. Further down, someone moved, sitting at a table, in the middle of various papers and books. I poked Rainbow Dash, which seemed to visit a library for the first time, and pointed to the table. We approach each other naturally. From behind the pile of books, I could see hair of purplish tones, I swore to have seen them before. Whoever it was, he didn't seem to have noticed our presence.
- Excuse me - I called, timidly.
The person got up quickly, almost in a fright. I realized then why that shade of hair seemed familiar to me. Who was there was the same girl from the detention. Your name came to my mind.

POV TWILIGHT
- Thank you for the ride dad - thank you, closing the car door.
I had decided to get a ride with my father and get to school early. I needed to separate some things for the first day of study. I entered the library, waiting for someone to answer, but no one showed up. It took me some time to call me that it was Saturday and no teacher, other than the one who was in detention, was at school, much less the librarian.
- I can't believe it - I said to myself, out loud - I'm alone in the library!
All that gigantic space, without rules, full of stories, books, a whole world to explore, just for me! I couldn't believe it! I looked on the shelves for several subjects, all of which I might need to teach. I made summaries, organized exercises, wrote down formulas, tried my best to get everything organized. I spent at least half an hour writing down and organizing everything.
- Excuse me - a soft voice suddenly appeared.
I got scared and got up on a single impulse. I had no reaction as soon as I realized he was in front of me. The red hair, the turquoise eyes... She was the girl who defended me on the day of the arrest. She looked at me, waiting for me to answer.
- Oh, hi - I stuttered and fixed my glasses that were crooked - I didn't see anyone coming.
- You could tell - a playful voice appeared.
I noticed that she wasn't alone there. Behind her, the same girl with colored hair she talked to that day looked at me, with a fun smile on her face.
- Are you the director Celestia asking me to help? - I asked - she didn't tell me they were two people.
- Actually it was just her - the redhead explained - I just came to accompany her.
- Oh, all right then - I extended my hand, shy - pleasure, I'm Twilight Sparkle.
- Wow, how formal - joked the one with colored hair - and then, I'm Rainbow Dash.
- Sunset Shimmer - she shook my hand - but you can call me Sunset anyway.
I shook my back when she shook my hand. I've never been good at socializing, but I've also never been so nervous with a simple handshake. I twisted my lips a little, embarrassed and let go of her hand quickly after the brief greeting.
Looking over Sunset's shoulder, I could see that Rainbow looked at me intrigued.
- Wait, I've seen you before - she widened her eyes a little - hey Sunset, isn't that girl from detention?
- I think so - Sunset smiled - hard not to remember someone like her.
My cheeks turned red with the comment. Rainbow looked at Sunset from the corner, raising his eyebrow. The redhead noticed her friend's look and took a red tone on her cheeks as well.
- I mean, she usually doesn't go to detention, and she still had that whole Adagio thing - she explained, scratching the back of her neck nervously - that's why I remembered her.
- Oh, yes, of course - Rainbow smiled on the side, that I had not understood the meaning - so, what did you write so much there?
She pointed to the table I was using. I realized the big mess she was in, with several papers and notes scattered randomly, in the middle of open books, others closed, some pens were lost in the middle of everything.
- Ah, I was just doing some summaries - I explained - in case we needed it.
- Wow, did you really do all this now? - Sunset passed me and briefly moved the notes, analyzing them.
- I must have been excited - I shrugged, slightly proud of my work.
- I don't know if we're going to need all this, but it's very impressive - Sunset left the notes and went back to where he was.
I could see, as she looked at the notes and all my study mess, that she treated all that with ignorance, her voice carried disinterest, and for some reason it intrigued me a little. We were there to study, weren't we? The feeling that she didn't want to be there really bothered me, but I tried not to show it.
- Well, how about we start soon? - said Rainbow Dash - I hope you like donuts.
- You can bet - I answered - let's start.
