POV SUNSET

- You are!

- No, I'm not!

It was school day again. As I walked through the corridors, Applejack and Rainbow Dash came with me in the corridor, insisting that I was interested in Twilight Sparkle.

- Sunset, you've been denying this since the moment we left her at home - Rainbow Dash put his hand on my shoulder - I've never seen you look at anyone like you looked at her.

- E-I wasn't looking at anything - I hurried my step and walked in front of them.

- You're more domed than the norm - Applejack accused - you're in love.

- But what about you? - I replied - you've been talking to Rarity, aren't you?

Applejack looked away and shut up, blushing strongly. Rainbow and I exchanged smiles.

- We are, but so what? - He scratched the back of his neck.

- Talking about what? - Dash raised his eyebrow.

- Bullshit - Applejack shrugged - I found out she has a cat, asked for an opinion about clothes, sent one or another thing that I thought was funny...

- Did she ask you about clothes? - I held back the laugh - I mean, she makes fancy clothes, and you wear a hat eight days a week.

- Hey! You know it has sentimental value - you made a beak and fixed the accessory on your head.

- Relax babe, we know - Dash lowered Applejack's hat, covering his vision and running away. When Applejack was going to fix it, I lowered him again, running next to Rainbow Dash to the cafeteria that was our destination.

- Don't run in the hallway! - Deputy Director Luna shouted.

- Sorry! - the three of us exclaimed in unison and slowed down.

Arriving at the cafeteria, we got in line to pick up food and then, all already with trays, we looked for a table that we could sit on. Rainbow Dash poked me and Applejack with his elbow and indicated with his head a table where Pinkie Pie was. As we got closer, we realized that she was not alone, Fluttershy and Rarity were with her, talking and laughing.

- She's accompanied, miór we get another table - the blonde took a step back.

- Are you going to get yellow just because of the girl? Really? You've been stronger - provoked Dash.

- I'm strong - Applejack said serious and convinced.

- We just didn't sit with Pinkie because I didn't want to get in the way and I didn't know the girls, so I think now that we know it there's no problem - I shrugged, waiting for their answer.

Applejack hesitated a little, watching Rarity excitedly talking to the other two girls.

- All right - he sighed - but if Rainbow bothers...

- She's not going - I said while casting a serious look at Rainbow Dash - Isn't it?

- I won't bother Applejack with her crush - Dash spoke in a discouraged voice and rolled his eyes, soon after receiving a neck from the blonde.

As soon as we approached the table, the looks of Rarity and Fluttershy, who were in front of Pinkie, rose. Pinkie realized that her friends' attention had gone somewhere else and turned back.

- OII!! - the curly-haired girl jumped off the table and hugged each of the three of us, being careful with the tray so as not to drop it.

- Hi Pinkie - I greeted back - can we sit with you?

- Of course! Come! - Pinkie sat down again and made room for us to join them.

- Good morning dear ones - greeted Rarity, raising his smile when he saw Applejack sitting shyly.

Fluttershy smiled and shook his hand only. Rainbow ate in silence, whoever passed by could think she was sick. I held the laugh.

- I was so sad that I couldn't attend your pajama party - Pinkie said - it must have been so cool!

- It wasn't really a pajama party, but it was cool - smiles remembering that Rarity had almost fallen from the truck on the way to Applejack's house.

- But seeing the bright side of this story, my two groups of best friends got together! That's amazing! - concluded Pinkie excitedly - now I don't need to have two separate pajama parties! We can all go together!

- It would be good to vary our junctions a little - Rarity smiled.

- I liked the idea - Fluttershy added.

- I'm sure it would be interesting - I laughed - but due to our last experience, I think we'd better leave it for later.

- Grandma Smith liked it - Applejack told Rarity and Fluttershy - he said he thought my new little friends were nice.

- We are really wonderful - Rarity smiled convinced.

We laughed and ate a little more. That's when I realized that Twilight wasn't among them. I kept wondering where she was.

- What about Twilight? - I asked. I felt Rainbow look at me from the corner of my eye and smile.

- Ah, she must be in the library - Rarity said while taking a sip of coffee - she usually goes there during breaks.

- Why doesn't she stay with you here? - Rainbow Dash asked.

- It's nothing personal, she boats with us from time to time - Fluttershy explained - but she really likes that library, she said she feels more comfortable away from the mess.

I agreed shaking my head slowly, assimilating what Fluttershy had said. Although I understood why she prefers to stay in the library - the cafeteria could be a somewhat wild place sometimes - I still felt bad because we were all together and she was alone. There was still a long time until the break was over, she could enjoy it a lot if I picked her up at that moment still.

- I think I'll call her - I left my tray on the table and got up - I don't feel good knowing that she's alone while we have fun.

- You know dear, I'm sure she won't complain - Rarity said taking another sip of coffee.

- Are you going to pick her up? - Rainbow intervened - you?

- What? What's the problem? - I asked.

- The girl wants to stay away from the mess and are you going to pick her up?

- Yes... - I raised my eyebrow, finding the question strange - so what?

- Sunset, we are the mess - Rainbow pointed to me, her and Applejack - stopping to think, she wants to stay away from us.

- Ah, it's not like we're so bad - I scratched the back of my neck.

- Wasn't it for you that deputy director Luna screamed before? - Rarity asked casually.

- It's sweet, I have to agree, we are terrible - Applejack said.

- She's Pinkie's friend! There's no way to hate mess and be her friend! - I pointed to Pinkie who played with making a smile with a piece of apple.

- In fact she once said that Pinkie was the only scandal she was used to - Fluttershy added, nervously moving the tip of the pink hair strands.

- Well, but still, nothing prevents me from inviting her, right? - I shrugged and took the last piece of bread that was on my tray.

- Good luck dear - Rarity exclaimed as I walked away.
