POV SUNSET

- One more for me!

Starlight repeated his commemorative dance steps once again. I dropped the batter on the table and stretched my arms, we had been playing for a long time, with most of the victories for Starlight, but I even reached her in terms of skill, too many parties I suppose. Twilight hadn't come back yet, which I had found strange, maybe she had met one of the girls on the way and decided to talk.

- Maybe we should drink something - I suggested, feeling my mouth dry - I also want to know where Twilight went.

- True, the girl left a little while ago - Starlight looked around, even if she wasn't going to find any trace of Twilight in the environment - is she okay?

- I hope - I sighed and squeezed the sleeve of my shirt, worried. Starlight went around the table - an act I didn't even notice - and put a helping hand on my back.

- Relax, it's just a party - she smiled - what harm can happen?

- True - I twisted my lips - thank you, Starlight.

- Oh, man, that's what her friends do - she patted the top of my head - let's look for her.

Starlight and I went up the stairs and reached the narrow corridor. We could barely see beyond, there were many people in that house. Probably someone had called the friends who called other friends to the party. Starlight took the initiative and walked confidently down the corridor, pulling me by the hand so that we wouldn't get lost. We managed to get to a more open space, where there were few people circulating. In a darker corner it was possible to recognize two known faces. Sour Sweet was propped up sideways on the wall, while Sunny Flare held a glass with one hand and used the other to run her fingers through Sour's fringe.

- Hey - Starlight called, the two quickly looked to the side.

- Ah, it's just you - Sunny smiled - what is it?

- Did you see Twilight? - I asked - she was with us, but we have no idea where she might be now.

- I didn't get to see her - Sour smiled crooked - maybe she decided to go out, I don't think she likes parties very much.

- I don't think she would leave without warning - I looked at nothing, thoughtful, she would have warned me, probably - and you Sunny?

- Maybe they should ask Pinkie - Sunny suggested - she always pays attention to everything, doesn't she?

- It could be a good idea - Starlight smiled - thank you girls.

We took the first exit to the part where the dance floor was. The weather was stuffy due to the amount of bodies and adrenaline in the same place. Quickly - without any difficulty, by the way - we found Pinkie, who danced and blew a whistle in her mouth to the rhythm of the music.

- Pinkie! - I called her as soon as I got closer - did you see Twilight?

- Which Twilight? Our friend? - Pinkie asked, still dancing.

- Of course it's our friend! - I was frustrated - do you know another one by chance?

- Not to tell the truth - he replied - but will someone I know have changed their name and I don't know?

- Look, I think she has a good point - Starlight pointed her index finger at Pinkie.

- Okay, whatever, did you see our friend, Twilight? - I went straight to the point.

- I'm ninety percent sure I saw her in the kitchen - Pinkie indicated the kitchen with her head.

- Thank you, you can keep dancing - Starlight smiled and started pulling me.

- I didn't even stop! - Pinkie screamed and stirred people around them to dance with her.

I hurried the step with Starlight so that we could get to the kitchen as soon as possible. That game of "where is Twilight?" I was stressing myself more than I should. We arrived in the kitchen in hurried steps, which resulted in a strong bump. I recovered quickly so that I could apologize; when the person turned around again, I recognized Adagio, arranging the bulky curls.

- Second time only today - he complained - I will need to call a lawyer.

- Sorry for the bump there - Starlight apologized. Adagio looked forward and noticed who he was talking to.

- Oh, it's you Sunset - she smiled at me and looked at Starlight - and a cute little Crystal. I didn't know you liked to catch your opponents.

- Shut up, it's nothing like that - I pushed her shoulder, which made her laugh - I'm looking for someone, can you tell me where she is?

- It depends - she looked in indifference - who?

- Twilight, that girl from the detention that you pissed off - I replied. Adagio widened his eyes slightly.

- Oh, I saw her a little while ago - Adagio pointed to the next door, which led to a dining room - he must not have left there.

We walked to the door, with Adagio leading. As soon as we crossed, the first person my brain recognized was Twilight, sitting on the chair, talking about some subject that I didn't understand a word of. The second was Aria, who looked at Twilight with her eyebrow raised, without arguing, just listening. Adagio looked up and watched me with a worried countenance. Why was she looking at me like that? Was there anything wrong?

I hurried my steps to Twilight. As I got closer, I could see Aria being a little surprised, but still with indifference in her eyes. Twilight saw me arriving and opened a strange smile, it looked good, but it was different from normal.

- Twilight, I was looking for you - I said as soon as I knew she would listen to me.

- Look who missed me! - Twilight got up from the chair in a clumsy way and leaned on the table, lifting something in her hands, which I didn't pay attention to - Sunset! I'm glad you arrived, you can join us now! Or would it be "us"?

- I think it can be anyone - Aria took a glass on the table and took a sip, watching Twilight from the corner.

- Oh, it doesn't matter - Twilight shook her hand with disdain and walked up to me, throwing herself against my body and hugging me. I felt her body weigh, she wasn't sustaining herself well.

- Twilight, is everything okay? - I asked, worried.

- Of course it is! Why wouldn't I be? - She took what she had in her hands and approached her mouth.

Then I realized that it was a glass, and the smell that came from it was strong. I took the glass out of his hands and Twilight made a face of indignation, but didn't try to get it back. I drank the drink and felt the taste, identifying: champagne.

- Wait, Twilight... - I looked up at me, worried - did you drink?

The answer I had came, not from Twilight, but from Aria, who confirmed with her head. I was incredulous about the situation. Twilight didn't drink, all that was totally out of the ordinary and I knew there was something wrong.

- Forget what I said earlier - Starlight spoke next to me - it can go wrong.
