POV SUNSET

- Go Dash! - I screamed, while I laughed.

Joining the football team at parties always ended up in the same story: extremely drunk people, making some stupid challenges. Applejack was the strongest for drinking of the three of us, but she was getting a little happier. Rainbow Dash, on the other hand, there was nothing to say. She was challenged to drink the rest of the entire bottle, while balancing on the edge of the pool, a very complicated task for someone who had already drunk a whole bottle of beer. Rainbow, with immense luck, didn't fall into the pool. I joined the fans and celebrated their victory.

It didn't take long for the screams to turn into laughter. A few crooked steps and a distracted look from Rainbow were enough for her to bump into the door. I almost dropped my glass because I laughed so much. I left it on a table, already empty, and went to rescue Rainbow from the ground.

- What do you think about leaving the challenges aside for now? - I held a laugh.

- But I'm winning! - she complained.

- Rainbow, you just knocked on a door, if there's one thing you're not, it's winning - he said while helping her clean her clothes.

- Maybe I'll stop - he said with a dragged tone of voice - but not because you asked!

- Of course not - I laughed - I'm going inside, I'll meet you in a little while.

Rainbow nodded, showing me a clumsy thumbs up. Before entering, I could see her looking suspiciously at the door, pointing her fingers at her eyes and then pointing them at the door, as if to say "I have my eye on you". I let out one last laugh before entering the kitchen and serving another glass of beer. I went to a corner of the room, watching the movement of the party.

From the place where I was, I could see Pinkie open the door and receive some people. Who entered was no less than three girls, however, one of them caught my attention. Twilight Sparkle was at the party. The loose hair going down his shoulders, a loose dark purple skirt, the black t-shirt and a denim jacket, also dark purple, but a different tone from the skirt. One side of the jacket was off the shoulder. I allowed myself to watch her for a few seconds, the vision was great.

It didn't take long for your gaze to come against mine. I noticed her getting uncomfortable, but also looking at me from top to bottom. A pink-haired girl called her, causing her to look away from mine. I sighed and shook my head slightly, I couldn't think much, it was a party after all. I turned my glass, no matter how much alcohol I was drinking.

- Calm down, are you going to go crazy already? - I heard a familiar voice next to me.

- I've seen you taking some good sips today, Flash - I laughed.

Flash Sentry was my friend and ex-boyfriend. We broke up in the middle of last year, but we managed to maintain a good friendship even after the breakup. He, for sure, was someone I liked to have around.

- The last time we both drank together on Pinkie's birthday, we ended up staying - even without looking at him, I could see the debauchery.

- In my defense, I was needy, and drunk - I replied, while I served myself again and took another sip.

- In my defense, me too - Flash laughed - but tell me, who were you watching?

I had to make an effort not to drown with the drink.

- Observe? - I disguised - I wasn't watching anyone.

- I can be hurt for many things - Flash said as I looked at the ceiling - but that's not one of them.

- I was watching someone yes - Flash arched an eyebrow, but I didn't let him say anything - BUT, not for the reasons you're thinking.

- And why else would it be? - Flash gave a mischievous smile.

- I don't want to talk about it - I rolled my eyes, sighing.

- So, a toast to the silence - Flash extended the glass, offering a toast.

- A toast to the silence.

I beat my glass with Flash's, and together, we turned the glasses.

POV TWILIGHT

Rarity, Fluttershy and I got out of the car together. Pinkie's house was starting to fill up, I could see, over the fence, that there were some people in the pool area, I also heard several screams and laughs. People seemed to be having fun.

- How I missed these parties - Rarity fixed her hair and took the lead - let's go?

I was the least used to the parties of the three of us, oddly enough. Fluttershy was not the type who showed up a lot, but she knew how to enjoy a good party, besides being a great dancer. Rarity was the one who showed herself the most, she loved to draw attention. I, however, was not sure how to fit in or behave in that environment.

Fluttershy rang the doorbell and it didn't take long for Pinkie to answer the door. It was evident that the birthday girl was euphoric about the party.

- Finally! - Pinkie gave us a bear hug - I thought they wouldn't come.

- And miss your party? Never - Rarity threw a sincere smile at Pinkie.

- Happy birthday Pinkie - Fluttershy kindly extended his gift - we brought gifts.

Rarity and I show our packages. Pinkie took it one by one to open and thank. Fluttershy's gift was a pocket version of image and action, one of Pinkie's favorite games. Rarity sewed for Pinkie a beautiful, decorated and embroidered apron. My gift was a special DVD with all the seasons of a series she loved. Pinkie gave us another hug, happy with the gifts.

- Now I can cook cakes while I play image and action and watch series! - I said in a breath - thank you girls! Come on, come in!

I entered the house observing the huge amount of people passing by. It was normal that at a party there were many people, but I never got used to it, and they would still arrive much more, I almost lost the air with this thought. Looking better, I noticed a familiar figure in the room.

Sunset Shimmer was propped up and had noticed my presence. His eyes analyzed me from top to bottom. I couldn't help but do the same. She wore torn pants, black boots, a white t-shirt with a print of some probable rock band, and, could not miss, a black leather jacket. I had to admit, Sunset knew how to impress.

- Twilight?

Fluttershy's voice called me, almost inaudible with the loud noise of the music.

- Oh, sorry - I shook my head slightly - what did you say?

- Rarity and I were thinking of getting something to drink and going dancing later - Fluttershy raised the tone of voice a little so that I could listen - do you want to go with us?

- Oh yes, why not? - I replied, giving a nervous smile.

When I looked at the room again, I saw Sunset still in the same place, but I was distracted talking. I was still bad for what I had told her in the library, and I wanted to apologize, but how do I get there to talk to someone like her? She would certainly be rude to me, confident, and I couldn't blame her, I would be right. What if I mentioned the subject and spoiled the party for her? But what if I took too long to apologize?

Maybe it's better not to bother you today - I thought - but I still have to think better.

It would be a long night, at least, for me.
