Terrance Berkeley looked down at his little brother, just like he has been looked down at his disappointments over the years, at the usual recklessness that ended him in a hospital bed.

Clay suffered a broken nose, a cracked jaw, and a head injury. His neck was secured by a brace and so was his torso, the result of falling off his bike at high speed. His jaw hurts so much he can hardly speak.

Suddenly he was that fragile little boy Terrance remembered, always got bullied in school, until the old man taught him to solve problems through violence. It didn't do the father any good, nor did the son.

Lying next to his brother was the gang, all suffering similar injuries, some far worse. Terrance has seen Clay's gang defeated before, but not on this level.

"They're disrespecting me, so they're disrespecting you!" Clay's warning came in his head.

Looking at the damage, this wasn't some drunken bar fight, but the work of a professional. Could his business be targeted by some unknown competitor?

"Who did this?" he went to the only member who seemed conscious.
