Cody's arrival at Playa des Loosers

Noah POV

It had now been several days since I arrived at Playa des Loosers. Since my arrival, Justin, Katie, Tyler and Izzy had been eliminated. It was the evening of the 3rd day after Izzy's elimination, which meant that the next one would arrive. I wonder who will be next... I hope it's Cody. Wait, no! If he shows up, I'll have to spend some time with him. Well, as long as it's not Cody and as long as he wins. But I want to see Cody. I mean, no... I still don't miss that stupid kid. I don't like him at all. I don't miss his blue eyes, the gap between his teeth, his insufferable voice, his hair and his face. We heard the boat arrive and saw a person in a wheelchair and full of bandages. We managed to figure out that it was Cody. Wait, what happened to him? "Someone has to take care of him! Who'd like to volunteer?" asks the chief. "I can do it," offers Tyler. He runs to Cody, slips and falls into the pool. What a fall! I looked to see who else could have done it. Ezekiel must not even know what a wheelchair is, Eva must be a little rough around the edges, Justin makes a spectacle of himself, Katie looks on. "Oh, Izzy can do it, Izzy's volunteering," says Izzy. Wait, Izzy? I fear the worst for Cody. "Wait, no Izzy. I'll take care of it," I say. "Oh, that's so nice of you," retorts Izzy, "That's not why I'm volunteering at all... have you seen the others? Ezekiel would be too stupid, Eva would be a bully, Justin is too busy with himself, Katie is too busy looking at Justin, Tyler will be hurt and you... no point in arguing" I explained hearing "Hey!" at every criticism I made. "Well, I don't care, I'm leaving," said the Chief. I helped Cody to the infirmary. "Well, what happened to you?" I asked Cody "Hmm, hmm, hmm" replied Cody "Oh, you can't talk? Too bad, I would have listened to your unbearable voice" I joked "Hmm, hmm, hmm", "I'm kidding Cody...", "Hmm", "I missed you, you know?", "Hmm?". I noticed Cody blushed as he "said" this. "Look Cody, I also wanted to apologize for what I said to you the other time on the dock of shame... apologize for the way I said it because you're still a pathetic straight flirt but that's what gives you your charm," I apologized. "Here we are in the infirmary, I hope you heal quickly buddy". Finally, I'm glad he's here, not in this state but his presence was the best thing that had happened to me since I got here. "So, how did the date go?" asked Izzy, having popped up from seemingly anywhere, "Where did you come from?" I asked, "Don't answer my question with another question!", "It wasn't even a date!", "Not yet but it will happen one day", "No!", "Co!", "Stop with that!", "No... Co!", "Argh... I'm going to bed after all", "And who's going to look after your darling in the meantime?", "He's my friend, not my darling!", "Not yet but it's going to happen one day", "You won't get me by repeating the same talk. I'm going to ignore you now!" I said as I went back to my room, "Too bad, I know what happened to Cody" she said, "What? But it's... how?", "I often go back to the woods to have fun you know.", "You've only been here for 3 days, we have to leave by boat to go to Wawanaka and here too so how did you do it? Besides, how did you get here? You weren't even on a boat", "The important thing isn't how I did it, it's what I did. You want to know what happened to Cody?", "Yes! But just out of friendship, nothing more.", "That's what they all say! Well then, go and kiss him and I'll tell you everything I know!", "But you're crazy! Wait a minute... you're bluffing, aren't you?", "But you shouldn't have said that Noah, you're not cool!", "But...", "One day I'll be able to cut you, ah ah ah!" she says, disappearing as she appeared. This girl is completely crazy. Cody and I are just friends and we've only given in to temptation once. And who can love Cody? Apart from his smile, his laugh, his intelligence, his awkwardness, the way he's always trying, his looks, the gap between his teeth that gives him charm, his fearful side that always makes you want to hug him to reassure him and his determination in challenges, he's got nothing going for him apart from these 2-3 little things. I'm still thinking about what Izzy said and I've finally decided to spend the night with him, keeping an eye on him. Just because it gets me away from all those freaks on the show. 

A/n A short chapter at last. And although Izzy is claimed to have hidden in the woods when she returned, Eva did say "Oh and Izzy lied to you, she wasn't in the woods, she was..." so she probably fled to the Playa des Loosers by who knows what means to get there.
