Lydie sat on a table not paying any mind as Grog struggles with five guards who were forcefully pushing him in. "It's okay Big G." Lydie spoke.

Lydie's words finally stopped his struggling and go back to his feet. The guards released him and left, closing the door behind them. Scanlan, Vax, Vex, and Axel, were confined in the kitchen area, as all the utensils were cleaned out by one guard just in case.

"Aw, you can't take the cutlery! What if we get hungry?" Scanlan complained.

"Eat a f*ck'n sandwich." the guard responded.

"Hey, I don't take orders from you, asshole." Scanlan argued back, "Fine, I'll make a sandwich. But not because he told me to."

While Scanlan gathered some ingredients, Vax, Vex, and Axel walked off, "I shouldn't have listened to Percy. He's out of his mind." she mutters.

"Ah, he's certainly complicated things." Vax agrees as he leans back against the table, Vex leans against the table as well. "There's a way to make our situation simpler. You and I have escaped from worse."

Vax catches on, "Syngorn, huh?" he mutters as she hums and turns around, "Guards might catch the group, but not you and me."

"And Aster." Vax says turning his gaze to Axel who sat staring at the letter in his hand.

Vex turns seeing Axel's concerned state. "Something wrong brother?" she asks, "You're not talking as much?"

Axel looks up seeing his adoptive sister beside him, "Huh, oh. I'm just lost in thought that's all." before he knew it, Vax swipes the letter from his hand, "Hey, give it back."

"Too late." Vax says opening the seal of the envelope with his dagger, "A letter?"

"Of course, Deputy Dumbass." Axel responds trying to take the parchment from the rogue, however, Vex takes the parchment.

"You want to read it?" she asks.

Axel was about to respond when he pauses mid-sentence. "No, maybe you should read it."

Vex clears her throat and begins to read the letter:

To Axel,

I am not a man of long words, and I'm mostly bad at explaining things. So let me get to the point. I, Prince Rafael of Tal'Dorei am your father. Which make you my son Mychel. You also have two siblings both sister, Rhiannon, and Athyna. I know you must be shocked by this sudden revelation, and to be quite honest I am as well, but there is something you should know about. Our family shares blood with the gods, which means that we are not ordinary mortals living in the material plain. If only your mother was here to see how much you've grown. Once the fight is over, all will be clear to you.

Sincerely your father.

Lydie's eyes widened in shock after reading the letter. She couldn't believe that she was a princess. Or even the daughter of the second Prince. Thoughts ran wild in her head, she knew that she was different, but to be related to a very powerful figure in all of Emon was crazy in itself. She then realized that her brother was none other than Axel. The same annoying Axel, who tried to court her. That same Axel who defended her from the noble at the feast. It does make sense, since he resembled a lot like Prince Rafael.

"Oh, hey, do you use this to talk to your goddess?" Grog asks Pike, causing her to look at the two, "Hello? This thing on?" he shouts at the amulet. "Am I talking in the wrong end?"

"Um...Pike?" Grog said, as Pike hug his thigh.

"After that spell hit me, the...the Everlight, I-it's like she can't hear me anymore." Pike explained. Lydie furrowed her brows.
