I squint while opening my eyes, then turn my head the other way.
"Hmp... Reshy Poo?" I close my eyes again and just lay there.

I remember why I'm here and where I am.

When I open my eyes again, they land on Resh. He's sitting in a chair, staring dead at me.

She looks around confused then holds the blanket to her chest.
"I wanted to wait until you were fully rested, so I let you sleep before I addressed you," I say.
"Resh..." she says my name.
"Sea," I shrug, high key frustrated waiting for her to speak.
"I can explain-"
"I'm listening," I let her know.
I swear I am. It better sound good.
She sits all the way up and looks down at the covers.
"I can't live without you," she says.
"So you abandoned Lotus?" I call her out.
"I did not abandon Lotus," she defends herself with fight in her eyes.
"How long have you been gone?" I ask her just to see if she'll tell the truth or lie.
She looks down at her hands again.
