When I slide my door open, Koi is in my room.
Oh shit.
I instantly look around to make sure Sea's personal items aren't anywhere in sight.
"Bruh," I try.
"Are you outcho fuckin mind?" He asks.
"Woah, yo you is trippin..." I look at him like he is.
"Me? Im trippin? If I'm trippin, you're definitely out yo goddamn mind," he says slowly.
My heart drops.
"You mad cause I did them two niggas in?" I ask confidently.
"I'm mad cause you proved Grandmaster right. You proved me right," he says.
"I got a little carried away. Okay?" I defend
His pupils shake while he looks me in my eyes.
"A little carried away Resh? A lot of fuckin carried away. You know better," he scolds me.
"What are you talking bout? Y'all know me... I'm brute. Ask Marshal how many times I whooped his ass. Shit, ask Sea too," I throw out there.
"Don't talk to me like I'ma fool. This shit was different," he says.
It was. I agree.
"How was it different?" I ask, trying my best to throw him off.
"You fought with vengeance and not just skill. Look who you're talking to right now. It's me. You're talking to Koi. You're mocking me and making a mockery of yo-damn-self by acting like what you just did was normal-"
"Me? I made a mockery outs myself?" I cut him off, thinking about all the ups and downs the four of us been together.
"Did I stutter, nigga?" He bucks.
"I made a mockery outa them mufuckas; now they know not to try me again...," I match his energy.
"Yeah?" he stands his ground.
I know he could whoop my ass, but fuck it.
"Yeah," I nod while we size eachother up.
"Yeah... yeah. That's why you broke Kam's fingers right?" His words drain the life outa me.
He notices the change in my facial expressions. It further confirms something for him. I feel it deep inside when it happens.
"You thought I wouldn't notice the lines in his fractures? You thought Grandmaster wouldn't fuckin notice? Sea ass woulda been smarter than that," He speaks venomous as hell.
I look away from him. He hits my chest with his palm full fucking strength, but I eat it.
"Even though I saw the X-Rays with my own two eyes. I still rode for you... but you failed your test," he goes off.
"Yo... this time was different," I almost stutter, battling with myself on whether to come clean about the whole truth.
"How?" He asks.
"They hit a nerrveeee Koi," I drag out.
"You think Chia fuckin with my boyfriend didn't hit a goddamn nerve?" He asks.
I open my mouth to speak, but clamp my jaw shut and grind my teeth to keep me from spilling everything out about Sea and our relationship.
"This was a lil different," It hurts me to say to him.
"It probably was, but there are rules and traditions for many reasons-"
"I was fighting for you too. Shit, today I fought for you and Marsh... and Sea," my chest gets heavy and my head gets light.
"Do many fucking things, but you don't break them fuckin rules," he says seriously like the leader he is.
"You don't understand; them mufuckas is plottin. They-"
"You think I don't know that shit? There's certain ways you go about things. We must be taken seriously... consistently. You my right hand man now, not Sea. You should act like it!" He gets angrier and angrier.
"Act like it?" I mug.
He grows silent.
Fuck do you want me to do then?
I keep going.
"Act like it? Act like it? And be a lil bitch?" Slips out my mouth.
His body language switches up quick as soon as my words leave my mouth. After, he leans in some before he speaks.
"A lil bitch?" He looks me up and down.
I instantly regret saying it.
"Koi, I-
"Act like it and be a fuckin nobleman, Lil Bitch," the base in his voice tells me how mad he is.
Ughhhh. Short ass chapter. THOUGHTS?
Koi just called Resh a lil bitch at the end of this chapter. Wanted to write this out because it would be a mf to not get it 🙄
