ANGEL

After Audi's wedding, it's back to reality, back to work. Today will be memorable for me because I am walking in my favorite brand, and they call their models angels.

I need to calm myself because this is my first time walking in this brand. I'm happy because Noel is here and he is going to watch my runway.

Habang minamake upan ako. I heard my phone rang and I saw Noel's name kaya agad ko itong kinuha.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey, good luck! I'm already here. Waiting for you to go out."

I chuckled. "Yea. I'm still not done yet."

He chuckled. "Don't worry. I'll be here waiting."

I ended the call dahil kailangan na din namin mag start.

"Oh my God. I'm excited, so excited that I'm shaking." I said to my co-models dahil andito na kami back stage at isa isa ng lumabas ang mga models. Last ako lalabas kasi ako ang may pinakamalaking wings. Sana hindi 'to masira habang nag lalakad ako.

"You can do it, Rhea! I'm grateful to see you in person. By the way, I'm a fan."

I smiled. "Thank you."

Lahat na lumabas at ako nalang ang hindi pa at nag iba na din ang kanta. 'Di tulad sa ibang model na isang aisle lang ang lalakaran, ako lahat ng parte sa stage ay kailangan ko lakarin.

Okay, hinga Rhea, hinga.

Last five nalang ng model ang nasa stage at katapos nila ay susunod na ako. Ah! Sana maging maayos 'to.

I walked, and walked, and walked. As I looked at the crowds, I saw Noel clapping his hands and smiling.

I finished the show with a standing ovation, and I couldn't help but smile and feel proud of myself.

Still in awe of how I got here and how some people still love and admire me.

After I go out to the stage, I find Noel because I know he'll be in backstage after my runway, he's always like this so I know.

"Congratulations, my angel. I'm so proud of you."

Luminga ako sa likod ko and I saw him with the pink boquet of flowers.

I smiled. "May pa flowers pa talaga? And every runway talaga ha? Unfair naman neto sa'yo. Pag na runway ka wala manlang akong gifts or minsan hindi pa ako nakaka nood-"

"Shh! It's not all about me tonight, okay? It's all about you."

I hugged him. "Thank you, Noel. Appreciate it."

"Sorry. Cannot hug you back. Your wings is huge." He chuckled.

I laughed. "Oh, I'm sorry. Balik muna ako sa dressing room and let's meet nalang sa parking lot."

He nodded. "Alright. Sa bahay ka na din umuwi. I have something for you since this is your first time."

"Really? No need na pero thank you." I smiled.

Bumalik na ako sa dressing room ko and my staffs surprise me with balloons and gifts. They're so sweet!

"Thank you guys." I said.

"You ate, miss Rhea."

"For real. You looked like a real angel earlier, with the fierce look at the end. The white wings with glitter suit you. I'm glad I told my co-workers to put glitter on the wings."

I smiled. "Thanks guys. It wouldn't be possible without you all. It wouldn't be successful without you all. So all of you are the reason why I made it."

Lumabas na ako sa parking lot and I saw Noel waiting for me outside of his car.

When he saw me, kinuha niya ang mga dala kung balloons at mga regalo.

"Your staff are so sweet." Aniya.

"They really are."  I smiled. "I'll drive my car." I said.

"No need. Ipapadala ko nalang 'yan sa driver ko. Dito ka na saakin."

Dahan dahan akong tumango. "Alright. Ipadala mo nalang sa bahay mo. Pupunta kasi ako sa BH bukas."

He nodded. "Copy."

Byahe na kami ngayon sa bahay ni Noel. Late na rin. Siguro duon nalang din ako matutulog sa bahay niya.

Pag kadating namin sa bahay niya, I was shocked dahil andito ang mga kaibigan ko at naka set-up na ang lahat.

"Surprise!" Aniya.

I looked at him. "Noel, you don't have to do this!"

"But I already did! So you have no choice but to take this ride." Aniya.

"Congrats, Rhea!" My friends said.

"Thank you, girls."

Mariah is not here because she is out of the country after Audi's wedding, while Audi is on vacation for her honeymoon.

"Sorry, we weren't able to come to your runway because we are preparing here." Kim said.

"No! It's okay. Don't say sorry. The fact that you all made time to surprise me already makes me blush." I said.

"It was Noel's idea again." Ashlyn said.

I looked at him and he raised his eye brows. "Let's eat."

I nodded.

My friends replayed my walk earlier because it's all over the internet.

"You were really a living goddess."  Ashlyn said.

"True. A living goddess and an angel. Your blonde hair really matched your vibe earlier." Kim said.

"Thank you, guys! Even though we had a busy and hectic schedule, you still came here." Isaid as I hugged them.

"Ah, Rhea! Stop making me cry!" Kim said.

"Who's cutting onions?!" Ashlyn joked.

After my friends left, Noel and I stayed in his pool area.

"Thanks Noel for the surprise party. I really really appreciate it. Kahit ata anong gawin ko para sa'yo hindi ko masusuklian ang tulong na ginawa mo saakin."

He chuckled. "Huwag mo na isipin 'yan. I want to see you happy that's why ginagawa ko 'yun and pag nakikita ko na masaya ka, okay na ako dun."

I smiled and tuminggin ako sa mga butuin.

"I'm sure si Raul, proud na proud sa'yo. I could feel his proudness to you."

Dahan dahan naman tumulo ang luha ko habang nakatinggin parin sa langit.

"Yea. I hope so. I hope he is proud of me." I smiled.

They told me I'm the angel, but the true angel is Raul, my guardian angel.
