PRIVACY
After how many months, after how many issues I have fixed, after how many dating rumors I have denied, people have finally stopped talking about it on the internet. I know it will always be there, but at least they've stopped mentioning it on everything I'm involved in or related to.
But today, this is the day when I shouldn't think about the issues and rumors about me. Because today is all about Audi. Because she'll be a wife any minute now. I'm so excited and happy
"I'm crying."
Nabuhayan lang ako sa pag katulala sa harap ng salamin dahil sa boses ni Kim. Inaayos na kami ngayon ng buhok at si Kim eto na naman.
"Oh my gosh! Girl, stop crying! Your make up!" Ashlyn said.
I closed my eyes. "Stop it, Kim. Save your tears when we see Audi walking down the aisle.
"Awww." Sabay na sabi ni Ashlyn and Mariah.
Isa isa na kaming lumabas sa kwarto at walang pinili si Audi saaming mag kakaibigan niya na mag bride's maids para wala daw favoritism. Kaya ang kapatid niya ang pinili niya.
Pumunta na kami sa kwarto ni Audi para bisitahin siya.
"Oh my gosh! You're so gorgeous!" Kim said.
My jaw dropped. Audi was like one of the princesses from the fairy tales I've watched. She's like a living princess, with her shiny crown, wavy hair and a big wedding gown.
Nag akapan kaming mag kakaibigan and we cried. I just can't believe it that one of us is getting married.
Audi is so beautiful bride.
Lumabas na kami lahat para mag linya na at pumunta sa pair.
I was partnered to Melo. This guy is so tall. Kahit naka heels na ako matangkad parin siya saakin sobra.
"Hi." He said.
"Hey."
"Are you nervous?"
"No, why would I be? I'm not the one who's getting married. Change the nervous to excitement." I smiled.
He nodded and he smiled. "If you ever felt nervous and you feel like you will fall in the aisle. Just hold my hand. I got you, baby." Aniya.
I rolled my eyes. "Don't worry. I won't fall. I'm used to this. You know I am a runway model. I can walk properly without falling and without you."
He chuckled. "Well, if you say so."
Sabay sabay na kami nag lakad and the ceremony was so perfect and umiyak na pala ako, hindi ko namalayan.
Nasa reciption na kami ngayon and itong partner ko sa kasal ni Audi na si Melo ay kanina pa tinggin ng tinggin saakin. Can he stop? Na aanoyed na ako! Bakit ba may biglang business trip pa ngayon si Noel! Bakit ngayon pa!
Ang family ng both sides ay kanya kanya nag bibigay ng speech. And kada speech, palaging umiiyak si Audi.
Habang nasa kalagitnaan kami ng party, nakita ko sa labas na may mga nag titipon-tipon na mga cameras na hindi dapat para dito sa wedding kaya agad akong lumabas.
Pasimple akong lumabas sa venue at natigilan ako sa pag lalakad dahil narinig ko ang boses ni Kim.
"Hey, where are you going?!"
Suminyas ako na huwag siya maingay. "Keep quiet. I will go outside. Don't come with me."
"What will you do outside?"
"Don't ask. I can do this alone."
"You sure?"
I nodded. "Yea. Just take some pictures of Audi so I can story later."
"Alright." Bulong niya.
Buti nalang at walang tumawag saakin habang palabas ako ng venue kasi nakakahiya at buti nalang at busy sila kela Audi.
Pag kalabas ko. Agad na binaba ng mga paparazzi ang camera nila. I don't care kung mag muka akong kontrabida dito, I just want my friend's wedding to be good na walang nangungulo. Paano ba 'to sila pinapasok ng guard?
Matalim ko silang tiningnan at tinaasan ng kilay.
"Can't you stop this?! This is my friends' wedding! Stop filming! Stop filming the wedding and stop filming me!" I said to the paparazzi.
Hindi sila agad umalis kaya I called the guard na nag lalakad para paalisin sila.
Gosh. This is exhausting. Even at Audi's wedding, we can't really get the privacy we deserve.
"Hey, you okay? You look... You look tense."
Luminga ako sa ligid ko at nakita ko si Melo.
"You know, just go inside. There might be paparazzi taking pictures of us, and they might think that I am dating a basketball player-"
"Oh, like what happened to Jordan? Tsk! I don't care! They can make rumors about it. But we just have to deny that. But, I won't deny that I like you, Miss Ong."
I faked my smiled. "Wow. Nice joke.
Nice joke, but it didn't make me laugh."
"What?! It's true! I even requested that you be my partner so we'll be close. I am confident that you and Noel aren't together, so..."
"So? So what? Even if Noel and I aren't together, I won't just easily enter a relationship with someone I randomly met."
"Relationship? Oh you're fast, baby."
"Fast? Because I know, it will just end up in a romantic relationship."
He nodded. "You're right. But." He chuckled. "You want me to be that man you want to be in relationship-'
"No." I smiled.
He chuckled. "Yea, I understand. But we can you know take it slow. You know, those late night drives, coffee, or watching movies?"
"Neither of those you've mentioned I want to experience with you. I'm happy with my life and happy being alone. And to those you have mentioned, I already experienced it. So no need to experienced it again."
"Come on, don't you see that everything makes sense to us? So maybe this is the night that our path crossed because we are meant for each other." He smiled.
"This is my friend's day. This isn't about us, alright?" I smiled.
"You know-"
"Look, the paparazzi have already given me privacy. I hope you will too. Enjoy the rest of the night." I said and I go inside to the venue.
