I got home to find my mum up and cooking lunch. She turned as I walked in the door. A huge smile spread across her beautiful face.

"Hello sweety, how was the movie?"

I shrugged. Actually, the movie wasn't so great.

"Eh, I've seen better." I said, setting myself on the counter.

"How was your, uh, date?"

She turned to me, her cheeks slightly turning pink.

"Well uh, Bay, it wasn't a date. It was just me and an old friend catching up."

I rolled my eyes, "whatever you say mum."

I jumped off the counter, walking away to my room. I closed the door and flopped down on my bed, pulling my phone out.

I had a text from my bestest friend Kayla.

From: Kayla

What's up girl?

I smiled, happy to see her text. I couldn't wait to talk to her and figure things out.

To: Kayla

Nothing, just got home. Come over?

I walked over to my computer desk and opened my laptop. Going straight to tumblr. I scrolled down, reblogging and liking pictures that caught my eye. My phone buzzed again.

From: Kayla

On my way :)

I smiled, I haven't hung out with Kayla for a while and I needed to talk to her about Destery. I had no idea what was going on but he made me blush. A lot. He sometimes gave me butterflies and made me nervous. I don't know, maybe I'm coming down with something. He's nice, super nice. I enjoyed chatting with him and getting to know him this morning, but the feeling I feel deep inside me was strange.

Kayla's POV.

I pulled up to Bays driveway, excited to see her. I rushed up the steps, knocking on the door.

Bays mum answered the door, her beautiful smile spreading across her face.

"Why hello stranger. It's been a while."

She swallowed me up in a hug, I hugged her back.

"Yeah I know. I've been so busy, I missed you guys."

She released me and nodded her head towards the direction of Bays room. I rushed up the stairs and down the hall, bursting through the door. I saw Bay whip around, clearly disturbed by my entrance, but once she saw me we both screamed in excitement.

"Oh my gosh never leave me again! I've missed you!" Bay gushed, holding me tightly.

"I know, I know! Never again!" I said, laughing.

After we finished hugging and gushing over each other we went and sat on her bed.

"So what's up? What's going on? How's life?!"

Bay laughed, "Well if you let me talk I can tell you!"

I laughed, "Okay, okay go!"

Bay told me about how her week went, then she told me about Destery. My eyes widened as she told me what's been going on. Her cheeks blushing as she explained.

"Whoa, Bay! You like him!"

She shook her head, cheeks getting even more red.

"No I don't. I just like him as a friend. I think I'm coming down with something."
