Chapter 19

Haley's POV.

April vacation was almost over and I was getting bigger. I couldn't hide this pregnancy anymore, and people are sure to talk. Nathan and I were heading to the doctors for another ultrasound, this time to find out the sex of the baby. I looked over to Nathan, his face serious. I couldn't help but smile, he was so adorable. Every time I looked at him, my heart fluttered. He caught me staring and smiled.

"What are you looking at?" He asked, flashing me his amazing smile.

"I'm looking at the most amazing man I could ever ask for." I said, leaning and planting a kiss on his cheek with great difficulty.

We pulled up to the doctors office.

"Ready?" Nathan asked, taking my hand as we walked towards the doors.

"Yes! I can't wait to find out."

"I hope it's a boy, so we can name him Steven."

I rolled my eyes, "I hope it's a girl, I can see her as a daddy's girl."

That made him smile, he squeezed my hand as we walked through the doors. It wasn't a long wait, as there was barely any people here today. With the few people here, we did get a few disgusted looks. I shrugged them off, squeezing Nathan's hand as our names were called.

"Hello Haley, Nathan, how are we doing?" The doctor asked, pointing to my stomach.

"Good so far. No more morning sickness or back pain." I smiled, rubbing my stomach.

I loved my baby bump, so did Bay. Every time we were together she would rub my stomach every chance she got. She would even talk to it, making the baby flutter around.

"Alright well, just lay down and we'll get this started." The doctor smiled.

I nodded and laid down. The jell was cold against my skin, sending a shiver down my spine.

"Okay everything looks good. There's it's feet, and oh! There's it's head!" The doctor said, pointing to the screen.

I squeezed Nathan's hand, my eyes getting watery. There was our bundle of joy, right there in front of our faces.

"Do you want to know the sex?" She asked.

I nodded, "Yes please." I smiled, getting all giddy.

It took the doctor a while, but when she finally told us I burst into tears.

"It's a boy!" Nathan squealed, kissing the told of my head, tears also running down his face.

It was so real now, we were having a boy. I smiled through my tears, I smiled so big it hurt my face. Nathan planted a kiss on my lips.

"Would you like a picture?"

"Oh, could we please?" I asked, all giddy and excited.

The doctor nodded, wiping my stomach off before leaving the room. I got up and hugged Nathan.

"Oh my gosh, were having a boy." I said.

"We're naming him Steven." Nathan said, looking at my face with a huge smile in his face.

I laughed and nodded, "Okay okay. His name will be Steven. Steven... Thomas Owens?"

He smiled. "After my Grandpa?"

I smiled and nodded. He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tightly.

"I love you." He whispered.

More tears flowed from my eyes, "I love you too."
