AIDEN'S POV

Every where I went, my eyes scanned the room. For what? My mate. I had been to all the packs, I had travelled more than half of the world. I did not find her. All of my friends had found their mates. It was just me, the alpha who hadn't. Or the soon to be alpha.

There was a rule in our pack that an alpha had to have a luna to take over from his father. Even though I had turned 19 this year, I could not presume the role of alpha. It wasn't just this that annoyed me. It was my friends PDA, that they had someone to be with.

Anyways, here I was in Harvard University on the first day. I don't know what strings my father had to pull to get me into this college, as I was an average B- student. But he thought since I didn't have a mate, he might as well give me good education.

Most of my friends weren't going to college. The few that were, chose colleges near the pack. So I was alone here, away from my family, friends and mate.

Just then the door of the class opened and an intoxicating scent hit me. "Sorry I'm late, sir!" An incredibly beautiful girl said.

She was wearing a skirt that reached mid-thigh, showcasing her beautiful legs. Not too skinny, not at all fat. She was kind of short though. She was wearing a light blue sweatshirt and her hair were let down.

My wolf couldn't be more overjoyed. He begged me to let him free but I controlled him.

She took a seat five rows away from me and I was disappointed that she didn't sit with me. She had to feel what I felt, right?
