SOPHIA'S POV

There was something wrong with Aiden. I could feel it. I glanced over at him, there were beads of sweat trailing down his neck. He looked pale and unfocused.

I looked into his icy blue eyes that captivated me. His eyes flicked to black, then to blue, and to black again. I still hadn't figured out what the deal with his eyes was.

I looked away focusing on the lecture but something drew my eyes back on Aiden's. His eyes were still flickering from black to blue, as he stared into nothingness.

I moved my hand, to brush it against his, and held it there was a couple of seconds. I don't know, but I felt sparks, probably, it was my overactive imagination. I whispered, "Aiden, are you alright?"

Aiden's eyes flicked to blue, and then to black. They stayed black and empty for a minute till he slumped against his seat and blacked out.

"Mr. Johnson! Aiden fainted!" I yelled, interrupting the entire lecture.

A random girl suggested, "I know CPR!" and launched herself at Aiden.

She did a couple of useless chest compressions. She pouted and puckered her lips like she was going to kiss Aiden.

I usually wasn't a jealous person, but rage coursed through my veins. Just before the girl could lock mouths with Aiden, I pushed her off of Aiden, and growled, "Get off my boyfriend."

Aiden wasn't my boyfriend, he was just a friend. Then, Amber came into the classroom, and pushed through the crowd gathered near Aiden. She put a little bottle under his nose, and minutes later, Aiden got up and started coughing.

Amber slipped him a tablet, which Aiden looked at nervously, before he swallowed it with water. The teacher offered to send Aiden to the nurse's office, to which Aiden politely declined. Class went on, and once again, I found myself staring in Aiden's eyes.
