Chapter 51

SOPHIA'S POV

A knock interrupted us. Lucia was furious at whomever knocked on the door. A guy with blonde hair and brown eyes walked in.

"Am I interrupting something?" He asked.

Yes. "No." Aiden said.

"Alpha, the fighters are interrogating the rogues right now, and I think you might want to see what happens." He said.

Aiden was getting off the bed, but I stopped him, "Can I please come too?"

"No, Soph, it's not safe." He said sternly.

I got up, "But I also helped you capture the wolves!"

"I know, but I don't want anything to happen to you." He tried reasoning with me.

The guy at the door interrupted, "Alpha, I think the Luna should also come with the us. It will be a learning experience."

"Thank you, uh-" I said, asking for his name.

"Callum. Beta. Aiden's best friend." He filled.

"Fine, you can come too." He turned to speak to Callum, "Get two guards."

"You got it." Callum saluted playfully and left.

Aiden took my hand, and led me outside the pack house.

He took me to a sort of a building, which did not look like a holding place for those wolves who had attacked Aiden.

He checked himself in at the counter, and we took an hour elevator to the last level of the basement. Who knew basements had five levels?!

"Sophia, I don't want you to speak anything or draw attention to yourself. You are to simply observe what happens. Alright?" He said authoritatively.

I nodded, distracted by looking around the basement we had just arrived in.

It was dark and gloomy, lit by yellow lights and I guess the perfect place to hold the wolves who had attacked Aiden.

The cells were relatively large and empty. It was kind of like my father's torture chambers but less extreme.

We stopped walking, when we reached the large red wolf. He was apparently in his human form now, a middle aged man, with a shaggy beard.

He violently shook the chains he was in, as blood seeped from his wrists, and yelled, "Never!"
