Chapter 36

SOPHIA'S POV

I opened Aiden's dorm door with the spare key he'd given me. I pushed the door, and walked in, and I shrieked when I saw a huge white wolf standing in the middle of the room. Its black eyes stared at me, and I backed away in fright. 

"Aiden? Are you here?" I yelled, frantically. 

I heard Aiden's calm voice in my head, "Sophia, relax. I'll explain everything to you in just one second. Close the dorm door."

I watched in horror as the wolf turned into a very naked Aiden. He quickly put on some trousers, and said, "Princess, please listen to me."

"No, no. What the fuck was that?!" I said in a very high pitched tone. I watched as his eyes flickered to black and blue, and he walked to his counter and swallowed a silver colored pill. 

"Are you on drugs?!" I asked. 

"No! Look, I'm a werewolf." He said. 

I was taken aback, "Those are mythical creatures! The next thing you'll be telling me that Harry Potter is real!" 

"Harry Potter is not real. Werewolves are very real." He calmly explained. 

"So like you get crazy on a full moon? Is today a full moon? Please don't eat me!" I cried. 

He ran his hand through his hair, "I would never eat you. And no, full moons only accentuate powers, they don't make you go wild."

"So what do you want with me?! Will you kill me?!" I was desperate to get away from him. 

"Werewolves have mates. Soulmates. Their second half." He tried to explain, but I didn't get it. 

I took a step back, "Where are you going with this?!"

"You're my mate." He said, like it was supposed to make sense, but it didn't. I couldn't be his mate, I was 100% human.

"I'm not! You must be mistaken!" I yelled and ran out of the room. Aiden tried to grab my arm, but I dodged, and I started crying. 

I knocked on Amber's door, and she told me to come in. When she saw what a state I was in, she asked, "What happened?"

"So- so I went to Aiden's room, and- uh, he was not there, there was a huge fucking creature, li- like a wolf. And then the creature turned into Aiden, and then, he told me he was a werewolf, and I don't know what happened, he also told me I was his soulmate, and what the fuck did he mean by that?!" I sobbed. 

Amber looked taken aback, and blood had drained from her face. "Sophia, we need to talk."
