AIDEN'S POV

Sophia was a light wolf? This was very shocking information. If there was a light wolf, there would be a dark wolf too. I was being carried to the pack house, and I looked over at Sophia who had healed me. Her wolf was a small white wolf, and honestly, she looked amazing.

'What is your wolf's name?' I asked her using mind-link.

'Let me check.' She said. 'Lucia.'

'Nice. Thanks for saving me.' I said awkwardly.

She said quietly, 'You're welcome.'

On the way to the pack house, I noticed Sophia's wolf, Lucia go pale. I mean she was already white. How much whiter can someone go?

'Sophia, you okay?' I asked her concerned.

She tried to wave it off, 'Yeah, yeah, totally okay...' But I heard the trembling in her voice.

Her wolf went limp and fainted, and it was probably because of her first shift, and how exhausting it must've been. I ordered the wolves who were not carrying me, to carry Sophia.

This must've looked so pathetic. The Alpha and Luna too weak to walk on their own. I tried to get up, but even though Sophia had closed up my wounds, I was still pretty banged up.

I winced, but still got up, and got unconscious at once.

...

I groggily opened my eyes. I was still in my wolf form. I looked over, and Lucia was sleeping beside me. I swear, being unconscious together is our most romantic activity!

I shifted, put on some clothes and left the room. Callum greeted me in the living room. "Bro! Your dad announced your alpha ceremony is tomorrow! Congrats!"

I looked at him, puzzled, "What? No I told dad to- fuck, seriously?"

I left and went to my dad's study. I barged in without knocking, and found him and mom making out. I closed my eyes and said, "Dad, I need to talk to you. How can you announce my alpha ceremony without telling me?!"

"You can open your eyes, son. And I have been alpha for more than twenty years now! I want to retire, and have a quiet life with your mom!" He said.

I protested, "Sophia still isn't ready yet! I didn't mean to mark her yet!"

"But you did, son. You have to deal with the consequences. And if she really loves you, she'll agree." He shrugged.

"We're not at the love stage yet! Please, dad, two more months." I pleaded.

He shook his head, "No, and I already told the entire pack. There's only so long even Callum will wait to become your beta."

I stormed out of the study, and went to my room where Sophia was sleeping blissfully.
