AIDEN'S POV

I could not sleep the entire night. I could feel the repercussions of having 20gm silver every day on myself. I felt sick. But I couldn't just hurt and mark Sophia just like that! She would be livid, and probably never talk to me.

Fierro? You there? I asked him inside my head.

There was silence in my head. The silver had a greater toll on him, as to him it was poison. I felt a sudden urge to vomit, and I leapt out of the bed, and ran to the bathroom. After half an hour, I felt a bit better, and I ate some of the gummy bears that were in my cabinet.

I went back to bed, and I saw Sophia still sound asleep. I closed my eyes and let the familiar thump of her heart lul me back to sleep.

Two hours later, the alarm I had set went off. We had to leave now for our date. I gently shook Sophia awake, and she went to her dorm to get ready. I wore a white shirt, and left the top four buttons undone. I wore black shorts underneath that.

I knocked on Sophia's dorm room, and thankfully, her roommate was no where around. Sophia opened the door, and oh my fuck, she looked breathtakingly gorgeous. She had gently curled her hair, and was wearing a light blue dress, with full sleeves, but the dress only reached mid thigh. "You look amazing." I complimented her.

Her cheeks brightened and she said, "Thank you."

I carried her to my car, and she gasped when she saw the car. "Your car is stunning!" The colour of my car matched her dress. She was swooning over my car, and I felt jealous of my car.

"D'you want to drive?" I offered.

She bit her lip, embarrassed, "I'd love to but I'm banned from getting a license for two years."

I laughed, and offered to teach her.

"I don't want to wreck your car." She said silently and showed me the pictures of three cars she'd wrecked.

The last one was in such bad condition, I couldn't help laughing at her.

I drove, and she connected her phone to the car's speakers. She played a few songs, and then drifted off to sleep.

When we finally reached two hours later, I looked over at her, and she was sleeping so contently, I didn't have the heart to wake her up. I reached over, and took her hand in mine, and pressed my lips to her hand.

Sophia's eyes fluttered and she sighed, "Penguin."

"Princess," I said with the same expression as hers, "We're here."
