AIDEN'S POV
When I woke up, Sophia was gone. Her scent lingered faintly on the sheets where I lay, but she was not here. I called her, and texted her several times.
"You should leave her alone. She needs space to think, and you can't go on for much longer to the silver pills. You're having a worse reaction to them than most wolves." Amber said, entering her dorm.
"Okay, I'm leaving." I said, and I made my way back to my dorm. Fierro was back, and he was more frantic than ever. He was also kind of struggling, but I didn't have any silver pills.
I tried calling her countless times, and I texted her too. She never replied.

78 Unread Messages Later,I found out about a party, and I decided to go there to get fully wasted. I don't even want to wake up tomorrow, kind of wasted.
I put on some fairly decent clothes, and I drove to the party. When I entered the apartment, the smell of alcohol hit me hard, and I found my way over to a free table with lots of alcohol. I took the bottle of vodka, and started chugging straight from it.
Even though the vodka hit me hard, I kept going, and I had already drank two full bottles of vodka. I was losing my sense of reality and sobriety very quickly.
A very drunk girl stumbled her way to me, and I instantly unconsciously began comparing her to my Sophia.
She doesn't have my sunshine's brown hair. She doesn't have my princesses' green eyes. She doesn't have my love's petit figure.
"How ya doin?!" The girl yelled in a loud tone and then began giggling.
I ignored her and continued drinking something. At this point I'm not even sure what it was.
That girl quickly got bored of seeing me drink and left, and half an hour later (and almost an unhealthy amount later), another girl walked to my table.
She had brown hair, and way too sparkly green eyes, and her figure was also small. In my state, she looked very similar to Sophia, but she wasn't my mate. This Sophia imposter wasn't my mate. Sophia smelt like petrichor in a garden of roses, this girl smelt like a drunk human being.
Sophia imposter clung to me like chewing gum, and she started kissing my neck. I would be lying if I said it wasn't good, but it wasn't Sophia. It wasn't her.
At first, I didn't give in to her. As she got bolder, I did too. It progressed to me kissing her violently, and for a split second, I could smell the scent of my mate.
In that split second, Fierro took over, and bit the girl's neck hard.
