Nat pov

I haven't seen y/n for 2 months now, I can't contact her or locate her. I have been a mess worried about what's happening, I can't even sleep just thinking about it all day and night. What if something happened to her during her work?? What if she got in trouble with the cops again??

"Ma'am? I uhm...thought you might want some coffee" One of our junior agents approached me while I was zoning out here on the balcony of our HQ

"Oh...you didn't have to but thanks" I gave her a smile accepting the coffee

"Are you ok? I-I mean if you don't mind me asking.  I'm sorry" She looked down panicking

"It's ok" I chuckled

"Hmm...I'm ok, just worried about someone"

"I noticed" she suddenly says making me look at her

"Whenever we train, you used to watch and correct us all the time but now you just keep on leaving us and work by ourselves" she added

"I just need time" I nodded

"Sometimes, I feel like I'm stuck. I've been a junior Agent for 5 years now and I keep on failing"

I was gonna say what you want me to do but she got me coffee so I'll be kind "Well, no one is ever stuck, time never has" I mumbled receiving her smile

"I was thinking...if you're free tonight, maybe?" She hesitantly asked

"I have a girlfriend"

She just looked at me weirdly before giving me a nod and just in time Clint was finally here so she already said her goodbye "Another junior Agent trying to hit on you huh?" He teases laughing

"Shut up" I shake my head looking from afar again drinking the coffee

"Are you going later?"

"Hmm, where?"

"Stark is throwing a party, just exclusive to us and He says he has a surprise" he shrugged

"What choices do I have?" I smiled Rolling my eyes before walking away to do some work

After work, I dressed up casually, just putting on something comfortable to try and survive the night

"Hey wands" I greeted seeing her in the kitchen getting something from the fridge "Heyy, everyone is already there except Tony" she smiled

"Thanks" I smiled back before going to the living room and seeing the guys playing some cards and Clint passed me a beer "How was your day?" Steve asked

"Nothing much just trained some junior agents and did some paperwork"

"Do you know what's Tony's business?"

"No, as much as I know him he's probably just gonna announce a stupid thing" I took a sip before Wanda sat beside me, she's drinking apple juice to feel included I guess

"Ladies and gentlemen" Yep, that's him

I was flabbergasted...He walked in with y/n, holding her waist. "Everyone, meet my fiancé" He proudly says as y/n looks so shocked seeing me before looking away and swallowing thickly

My heart feels so heavy and I know my tears are about to fall so I quickly excuse myself "I-I...I have to uhm...go to the bathroom" I forced a smile stuttering

I was already bursting into tears that I had to run my way there "Nat?? NAT???" I looked back seeing y/n

"WHAT?!?" I scoffed angrily can't stop myself from sobbing when she suddenly pulled me locking our lips together made me calm down for some reason

"You can't just kiss me..." I left her lips pushing her away lightly "W-why? why him???" I asked softly

"H-He saved me"

"And I didn't?"

"After what happened in the school I got expelled because of what I do and it has been difficult to find a new school. I was done with my job...I-I didn't want to d-do it again..." She started getting emotional

"But I had to because If I don't I'll starve to death"

"Why didn't call me? Go home to me..." I sighed. Her reasons don't even add up to me. Made me realize no matter how much I put out there, no matter how much I show her love and reassurance...If I'm not the person she wants to be with, I can't do anything about it but just accept it

"I...I...slept with him and he offered me to marry him"

"What?" I felt my knees getting weak...she's not into men, she never slept with a guy because she finds it dirty...that was how desperate she was.

"Why did you say yes?"

"Because the world is mean to me, Natasha" She forced a chuckle

"But...why not me?"

"You deserve everything in the world...except someone like me. You're too precious..." She smiled caressing my cheek

"I love you" I firmly say swallowing thickly

"I'm not yours..."

"I LOVE YOU"

"Nat--"

"I...love you, Y/n"

"I don't love you" She shook her head looking down

I lifted her chin to look at me "Say it to my face if you mean it. Say that you don't love me, that you don't need me...that you don't want me" I muttered

She's just staring at me before tears fall from her eyes "Y-You're so pretty" she smiled

"God, y/n..." I breathe out pulling her into a tight hug gently rubbing her back letting her drop her body on me

I gently pulled myself cupping both her cheeks and wiping her tears with my thumbs "I will do everything for you. I would bleed for you, I would face my biggest fears for you, I would endure, fight, give up everything, and sacrifice myself for you. You mean that much to me, and I need to know if that's ok"

"I love you too..." She smiled looking directly into my eyes making my heart melt with happiness

"I will get you out of this situation, I promise"

"I will be better to deserve you, I promise" she reassured locking our lips again in a passionate kiss
