I had woken up vary shortly after I passed out and had left the healing area despite Nina's protests.

"She's not here to plead your case." I heard Kaz say before the sound of a slight splash. 

"Kaz." I called.

Kaz POV

All the anger I had felt towards Ommen had washed away once I saw Rose immerge on the deck. Her silky brown hair shown an unusual gold in the sunlight, despite being chocolate brown. Her hair was blowing in the breeze and her eyes were alive with happiness.

"What?" She asked me with a smile on her face. I couldn't help myself. I quickly crossed the deck to where she was standing and smashed my lips on hers. One hand went to her hair and the other to her back, pulling her closer. I felt one of her hands on my cheek and the other on the back of my neck. "Please tell me you didn't do anything stupid." She whispered against my lips. I just smirked and pulled her in for another kiss. I heard Jesper clear his throat from behind me. Rose pulled out of the kiss and looked around. Once she saw that everyone on the ship was staring at us she said "What." She had placed a hand on her hip and was glancing around.

"You -He -What?" Jesper stuttered.

"Oh and because Iv'e always wanted to do this." Rose said walking up to Jesper. She gave him a hard smack on the arm.

"Ow! What was that for?" Jesper asked.

"For ruining our moments." Rose said simply, walking back to my side. I wrapped my arm around her.

"Love is a weakness in the barrel eh Kaz." Nina probed, bumping me in the shoulder. I glared at her until she looked away.

"Look Kaz is right, it's dangerous to love in the barrel, but even more so for us, so what happens on this boat, stays on this boat." Rose said.

"Oh why did Haskel want to see you anyway?" I asked Rose, already losing interest in the conversation about our love life.

"He wanted me to torture Big Bol." Rose replied.

"I thought we left Bol bleeding on the floor of the exchange." Jesper siad.

"We did, but apparently Haskel didn't feel that was a big enough punishment." Rose replied.

"So what did you do?" I asked her. I told her through my eyes that everyone needed to hear this. She nodded in understanding before saying.

"Broke each of his fingers, broke the wrist and dislocated the shoulder on his left arm. Than I erased his memory and told him Kaz did, and that if Kaz saw him he'd do the same to the other arm." Rose said. Everyone was staring at Rose with wide eyes, Wylan looked as if he could puke again.

"You did that?" Jesper said the horrer clear on his face.

"I got extra Kruge out of it. Kaz and I are going to find a bath. If one can be found on this saint  forsaken ship." Rose said, grabbing my hand and leading me to the cabin.

Rose POV

"No you can NOT use me as leverage to get this crew to behave." I told Kaz once the door to the cabin was closed.

"Why not. they already have the fear, we can just use it to keep them in order." Kaz protested leaning on his cane. I watched as he put it in front of him and rested both hands on it.

"We are not doing that and that's final." I told him.
