Rose POV
"Mom! Jordie blew up the chicken coop." Anna called up to me
(You can pronounce her name however you want but I say it as Onna Like the princess from frozen)
"Jordie I thought I told you to stay away from the chicken coup when you were practicing." I scolded him.
"Don't tell Dad, please. He got so mad at me last time." Jordie pleaded, looking up at me with frightened eyes.
"She doesn't have to tell me. And I only got mad at you last time because you deliberately set the coup on fire." Kaz said as he walked into the room, taking hold of my hand as he stood next to me.
"I didn't do it on purpose this time. I set up the bottles on the fence like you told me to and was aiming at them. I just missed one that's all." Jordie told us.
"Your Mother's right though Jordie, You shouldn't be practicing near the coup. If you like the four of us can build a training area in the back and the four of us can all use our gifts." Kaz said.
"Really?" Anna asked, looking at me with hopeful eyes.
"Really. We can start after you do you chores. And maybe we can do something special and make waffles for dinner." I said. The kids ran from the room to do their chores, leaving Kaz and I alone. "I still can't believe how much Anna looks like you." I said to Kaz, watching as Anna's biraded hair disappeared from the room.
"And I can't believe how much Jordie looks like you." Kaz replied. I cupped his cheek.
"Your really okay with Jordie having your brothers name." I whispered gazing up at him.
"It's been eight years Rose. He would have wanted it. And I'm sure he's happy that I have a family. He would have loved you all, I know it." Kaz said resting his forehead against mine.
"Dose Kaz Brekker believe in gods?" I asked playfully.
"Hardly. I have you and the kids. That's all I need." Kaz told me. I smiled
"I love you Kaz Retvield."
"I love you more Rose Retvield." Kaz said pulling me in for a kiss.
I had a loving husband and two lovely kids. Life was perfect. They were perfect.
