The heist to the Ice court had officially begun. We had found a wagon and were now in our cells. Cozy, considering there were at least a hundred of us in here. I waiting till I heard the elder clock chime six bells. Fjerdan guards came in with a water bucket and a bucket for waste. I glanced at Nina and Inej, than began to shove my way towards the water bucket. I had already taken the chemical out of my skin. "A storms coming." I said loudly in Kerch. I kept my voice casual in case there were any other Kerch prisoner's in the cell. I saw Inej and Nina pull their shirts up to their mouths and noses and I dropped the chemical in the water, doing the same, I watched in awe as the prisoners began to drop all around us. I slowly counted to sixty before removing my face from my shirt. Not long after I spotted Kaz limping down the hall towards us. He made quick work of the lock and we all walked out. "Thanks for the rescue love." I said giving Kaz a kiss on the cheek.
"No problem. How is it that you still look beautiful in prison clothes?" Kaz asked.
"I don't know, wait where did Inej go?" I asked, glancing around. Kaz let out a sigh of frustration.
"We need her to climb the shaft, Rose, Nina we'll split up, see if we can find her." Kaz said starting to limp down the hall.
"Not enough time, You and Nina look for her, I'll climb the shaft." I siad and with that I hurried down the hallway.
"Where are the others?" Jesper asked when I walked in.
"Inej left us. Now that I think about it Kaz may have mentioned one of us grabbing weapons while Inej made the climb. I think Inej thought she should do it." I finished trailing off with a shrug.
"Who's going to climb the shaft than?" Jesper asked looking concerned.
"I will." I stated, walking to the shaft and opening it. We were all hit with a blast of heat. "I thought you said they only ran the shaft in the morning." I said turning to Matthias.
"I guess they changed proto call." He replied.
"It's fine I'll find a way around it." I sighed walking over to the clothes that hadn't been burned yet.
"Oh thank the saints!" I exclaimed pulling out Kaz's gloves and my shoes from our clothing area.
"Are you sure you can make the climb?" Wylan asked.
"Oh I can make it alright, I'm just going to be vary hot afterwards." I smirked pulling my shoes on and taking the rope from Matthias and Jesper. "See you on the other side." I said before leaping into the grate. Jesper had taken the time to drench me in water but I had a feeling it was going to be no help at all. Kaz's gloves were to big so they kept bunching at the fingers as my greedy hands seeked cracks. Fjerda clearly didn't think anyone would attempt to climb the shafts because there were cracks everywhere. My arms began to ache around halfway up and my feet were burning. I was right, the water did nothing. I glanced down and caught a glimpse of my feet, and gasped. The bottom of my shoes had melted into my feet. I reached my limit, I thought as I heaved myself up a few more feet. I heard the sound of an alarm in the distance. Who had made it sound? Jesper? Inej? Nina? Matthias? Wylan? Or had Kaz? Had they been caught in the laundry room because I was to slow? No. It wasn't why. I would drag them all out of hell myself if I had to. I hauled myself up the last few feet and dropped the rope down the shaft. I thanked the saints for the rain that had come in my last few feet. Now it would be a slightly cooler climb for the others. I started across to the embassy roof and waited, with nothing to do but worry and get the melted rubber out of my feet.

Kaz POV
I was going to kill Inej. I had said that Rose was to be the one to restore our weapons. I spotted her and limped over as fast as I could, slamming her into the nearest wall.
