Marco Revello

Loud music invaded my ears. Annoying bright lights almost blinded me. Bodies pressed together. The insufferable smell of sweat and alcohol lingered through the air.

"He is already here." Rhys informs me as he leads me to one of the vip rooms upstairs.

The once loud music slowly fades away as Rhys opens the door. My eyes instantly lock with Rogan. Blond messy hair with crystal blue eyes. Two women next to him and one sitting on his lap.

"It took you a while to get here." He said slightly irritated as he was more focused on the woman on his lap. Caressed her hair right in front of me.

I sat in front of him with crossed arms. My gaze fixated on him as I was trying to understand what I was doing here in the first place.

"I was told you weren't on good terms with Mr Reed." Rogan spoke as he glanced at me. A hint of curiosity swimming in his irises.

"Out." The ladies giggled to themselves. As if my words held no meaning to them. I pulled my gun from beneath my blazer. Their gasps soon filled the room causing them to run for the front door. Rhys stepped aside to let them pass by.

"Was that necessary?" Rogan questions me irritated.

I smile to myself as I hunch over. Resting both my elbows on my legs. "Get to the point Rogan." I warned him.

His laugh filled the room, causing me to raise an eyebrow. "I'm the one doing you a favor, you shouldn't be talking to me like that Marco."

Amused, I nodded my head in understanding as I grabbed my gun. Stood up from my seat and hunched down to meet his eyes. Today wasn't a good day to be testing me. I have been feeling irritable lately. Easily snapping at people despite them not having done anything wrong. Which was so out of character for me, yet I simply couldn't help it. So as I placed my gun to his temple with a smile plastered on my face, it was unlike me. However, attempting to blackmail was where I drew the line.

Rogan laughter echoed through the vip room. "My men are outside. The club is packed. Even if you decide to pull the trigger you can't get away with it. Everyone saw me entering this building." He dead-panned. "How would you explain to anyone why I'm not seen leaving? I'm sure there is only so much Rhys can do."

I chuckled to myself as I removed the gun from his temple. "You're underestimating me, Rogan." I remind him, causing him to shrug.

"Mr Reed is plotting. I'm sure you know that. He has been ever since he stepped foot in London." Rogan continued.

"And you magically know what that man is up to?" I asked him confused, not completely convinced.

Rogan had built a good reputation for himself. A business man that many would be able to name. Yet he was new to this life. There is nothing he knows about my line of work that I'm not already aware of. Maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt, yet at what cost?

"I know his every move Marco. Where, when and why. I know everything."

"How?" I questioned him skeptically.

His mouth curves upwards. "That's my brother."

I glance at Rhys with raised eyebrows. He shakes his head indicating that he was not aware of this.

"Are you?"

"Well if you want me to be specific, we share the same dad yet different moms." Rogan replied, causing me to chuckle in amusement.

"You mean to tell me you are willing to betray your brother...your own blood?" My question lingered through the air causing him to scoff. He leaned forward as he never removed his eyes from me.
