Eshant stood in his father's room with Devansh, Rajveer, and Soheb.
None of them could go to Sardar Amar's arrival ceremony in the morning because of the letter that arrived with the messenger in the morning.
"It clearly states they want to meet us, baba"
Devansh says elated.
"The question remains the same, is it safe or a trap?"
Eshant enquires.
"Well, we won't know until we go"
Devansh replies sitting on the couch.
Rajveer's glance stays stuck at the scenery outside, of the town that stretched afar.
"If someone is going, then that's me"
Eshant said with a stern tone.
"Eshant, it would be a disgrace to them if I do not accompany"
Rana says from his bed.
"Aren't they already a disgrace to everyone in Bharat? I'm pretty sure their ancestors and women are already ashamed of their misdeeds"
Soheb enquires.
Devansh's arm coils around his wrist and he steps back feeling ashamed of talking to the king in this manner.
"Most importantly, if it's a trap... I'll die alone. It's better to sacrifice one than sacrificing all"
Eshant adds.
"I understand your point but..."
Devansh interrupts.
"I'll take enough soldiers and if anything goes wrong, I'll send a messenger"
Eshant confronts.
"Do you think they will spare you the time to call for help?"
Rana said coughing from his bed.
"And do you think I am that weak that I won't be able to fight them on my own?"
Eshant steps forward.
"I can go in your place, Eshant. The whole of Rajputana looks forward to you for their existence"
Devansh says pressing his brother's greatly built shoulder.
"Bhaiya, you are not a trained warrior. You would be bait to them and I know Rajputana looks forward to me and that's why I want to live up to their expectations. Please let me"
Eshant requested folding his hands in front of his baba.
"Fine"
After considering for a while the king gave his verdict.
Devansh sighed in disappointment.
"Get ready to leave by tonight"
The king announced.
Eshant nodded holding his hands together behind him.
"I will accompany you"
Rajveer finally said looking into the room.
He knew what was going on in his best friend's head and he also knew no one would stand a chance in front of his stubborn nature.
There is no way I am leaving him on his own, he thought to himself.
After all, ever since his father's unexpected death, all he has is his best friend.
Eshant on the other hand had a different duty made up in his mind for Rajveer but he had no chance to place his request because of the kind's immediate approval.
