Two agonizing weeks had sluggishly passed since the heart-wrenching loss of Baji, casting a relentless shadow over Amalie's spirit. Each day unfolded as an arduous struggle, attempting to swap tears for smiles while reminiscing about the treasured moments shared with Baji.

Ryoko, too, stood as a constant presence in Amalie's attempt to extend support, her grief palpable after learning of her son's demise. Even within her bitter acceptance — 'I knew that one day my foolish son would commit the irreparable...' — Amalie perceived a mother's profound sorrow in Ryoko's eyes.

Kol, too, grappled with the harsh reality of Baji's departure, exhibiting occasional moments of heightened aggression. Despite his stoic exterior, Amalie sensed the void left by the absence of his friend.

Today, after paying respects at Shinichiro's grave, Amalie found herself standing before Baji's final resting place. A subtle gesture of lighting incense preceded a silent prayer. Speaking softly to the winds that carried her words across the somber cemetery, she poured her heart out.

" Hey, Baji... Two weeks have drifted away since you departed. I'm grappling with everything, looking after your mother just as you'd want me to".

Turning her gaze toward a vibrant bouquet of flowers, Amalie's eyes welled with tears," I got you the most beautiful bouquet I could find. I miss you, you know. And guess what ? Your mother has a photo of us on her phone. It caught me off guard — embarrassing, yes, but not angry. Let's call it a good memory, okay ?

I'll be back with more tales soon. Don't worry. I'll live fully, and when we reunite, wherever that might be, we'll laugh together about all the foolish things I could've done". Amalie declared, rising to her feet.

As she wiped away her tears, Amalie glanced around, only to find Kol arriving with his hands in his pockets.

" Sorry I'm a little late". Kol stated.

Amalie shrugged," Don't worry. I'll wait if you want to talk to him alone".

" No, it's not too much of a secret...". Kol replied.

Amalie observed as Kol looked at Baji's tombstone before paying his respects.

" I don't really know if you can hear me now. Perhaps it's more reassuring to think that you can. Well, guess a little. I went to blow up a car, a big one, I must say. Too bad you weren't there to see it; you would have laughed.

Or maybe from where you are, you had seen it ? It's weird... this world has lost someone with a wild personality and probably a good soul. You could have been worthy of being a Mikaelson, you know". Kol muttered.

Amalie looked at her brother sadly, recognizing the sorrow in his eyes. She understood that Klaus had once taken under his wing a boy named Marcel, and Kol had always been hurt to see everyone giving Marcel so much attention and treating him like one of them. Perhaps, deep inside, he had wished for someone like Baji at that time, someone who, even if not of their blood, could be considered family.

Kol sighed, standing up," Time to go".

Amalie nodded, following her brother," Alright".

Just as they were about to leave, Amalie spotted Chifuyu entering the graveyard, a plastic bag in hand.

" Hey, Fuyu. You came to see him too". Amalie greeted with a soft smile.

Chifuyu nodded," Needed to talk to him. Wanna come along, you two ?".

" Nope". Kol replied.

" We already did. You probably have things to say". Amalie responded.

" In a way... Um, Amalie, Kol, I'm sorry for not being around much these past two weeks". Chifuyu's voice trailed off.
