After Amalie and Mikey crumpled to their knees, an eerie hush blanketed the onlookers. The two figures lay motionless, a haunting contrast to the charged atmosphere surrounding them.
" Hey ! Mikey and Amalie took a knee ! Think they're drained from all that blood loss ?". Speculated a Valhalla member.
" Isn't this the perfect chance to finish them ?". Pondered another.
" Hey, they're not moving. Seriously, this is our shot !". Exclaimed his friend.
Draken clenched his teeth, visibly expressing concern as he overheard the murmurs circulating among the Valhalla members.
" Like hell ! I'll take every one of you down !". Kol shouted, standing firm on the wreckage of cars.
Hanma grinned," Nice one, Kazutora".
" Follow me, men ! We're going to curb-stomp Mikey and Amalie !". Commanded Chouji, a Valhalla captain.
Without hesitation, the Valhalla members surged forward, following their captain.
Takemichi gasped," Oh, shit ! Another Valhalla Captain !".
" Move, asshole !". Mitsuya shouted, breaking free from the grasp of members holding him back, eager to assist Amalie and Mikey.
" Damn ! There's too many of them". Chifuyu exclaimed with frustration.
" Hanma ! You damn zombie ?!". Draken yelled, delivering a punch to Hanma's face.
Kol focused on Valhalla's members climbing the cars. Muttering a spell, he sent a big group flying back, thrown to the ground.
" What the hell ?!". One of them exclaimed.
" Touch my sister, and I'll kill all of you". Kol warned firmly.
" We don't care, man !". A boy said with a grin, trying to move forward.
Without much thought, Kol moved his hand, and a crack echoed before the boy fell into Kol's arms.
" Hey, dude, what happened ?!". One of his friends called out.
Kol then realized that, in dealing with all of them, he had used a spell to crack that boy's neck, forgetting that he wasn't going to open his eyes like the vampires could.
Kol sweatdropped," Oh well".
He then discarded the boy away from him, causing the boy to fall down the car.
" What now ? I have to save them ! Mikey-kun ! Amalie-chan !". Takemichi shouted, sprinting toward the cluster of cars.
However, as he ran, a Valhalla member intercepted him with a powerful punch to the nose, sending him sprawling backward," Back off, punk !".
Gritting his teeth, Takemichi persisted, but another Valhalla member restrained him with an arm around his neck.
" Mikey-kun ! Amalie-chan !". Takemichi called out with genuine worry.
Tension reached its peak as the Valhalla members closed in on Mikey and Amalie. Unable to stand idly by, Takemichi sank his teeth into the arm of the man restraining him, forcing him to release his grip. Takemichi continued running, driven by desperation. Yet, his eyes widened with fear as Chouji leaped with a metal rod in hand.
Kol gritted his teeth, ready to use another spell," Damn it, he passed".
Amalie gritted her teeth, attempting to rise and join the fray, but Mikey held her close, protecting her vulnerable head.
" Your boss's head is mine !". Chouji declared.
Before Chouji could strike Mikey, Kisaki appeared, landing a powerful punch that sent Chouji crashing into one of the mangled cars.
