On a brisk morning, Takemichi found himself invited by Mitsuya at the conclusion of classes, as he had something important to share. Standing before the school gates, Takemichi observed the school with a raised eyebrow.
" So, this is Mitsuya-kun's school. He beckoned me here for something, but he's certainly taking his sweet time". Takemichi muttered, nonchalantly leaning against a fence that guarded the entrance.
" Hey, Takemitchy !". A voice called out.
" That voice...". Takemichi mumbled, intrigue coloring his expression.
Turning around, he discovered a tall boy confidently striding towards him, a figure he couldn't help but feel a tad uneasy around.
" Peh-yan-kun ?! Damn, that's flashy ! Hold on, you go to the same middle school as Mitsuya-kun ?". Takemichi exclaimed with a genuine surprise.
" Yeah. C'mon. Mitsuya's got his hands full right now, so I came to fetch you instead. I mean, he is our Captain". Peh-yan informed him, casually passing in front of Takemichi.
Takemichi flinched slightly, now realizing that Peh-yan was in the same division as him.
Inside Mitsuya's school, Amalie scoured the cramped storage room for a measuring tape among the myriad of boxes, determined to assist Mitsuya.
" You find it, Lie ?". Mitsuya queried, entering the room.
Amalie turned away from one box, shaking her head," Not in this one".
Mitsuya sighed, scratching his head," Where did I put it ? I went back to the class, but I didn't leave it there. I remember coming here, but after... That'll teach me to multitask".
" Don't worry, we'll find it. It happens sometimes. I often help Wakasa around the house because it happens a lot to him too". Amalie reassured with a small laugh.
As Amalie continued her search, not fully engaged, she accidentally collided with a shelf, sending a box hurtling towards her.
" Watch out !". Mitsuya exclaimed, swiftly pushing her against the wall to shield her.
Amalie gasped slightly as the box landed on Mitsuya's back," I'm so sorry. Are you hurt ?".
Mitsuya smiled, shaking his head," Not at all".
" Sorry, I was clumsy. Huh ?". Amalie muttered, chuckling as she looked up and saw what they were seeking, resting on both their heads.
" I think we found what you were searching for". Amalie said with a grin.
Mitsuya looked up with a curious expression before smiling and grabbing the measuring tape," Yeah. Thanks to you, Lie".
Amalie grinned, her embarrassment evident as Mitsuya remained close," Well, maybe you could ?".
Mitsuya's eyes widened as he understood her implication, quickly pulling away," Sorry about that".
" That's okay. Well, maybe we should put everything back". Amalie suggested.
Mitsuya nodded, his cheeks flushing momentarily, quickly hiding it with a smile as he bent down to put everything back into the box with Amalie.
Meanwhile, as Amalie and Mitsuya were tidying up, Takemichi and Peh-yan entered the school, a mix of curiosity and unease lingering in Takemichi's mind.
It didn't take long for the duo to arrive in front of a door conspicuously marked 'Home EC Room.'
" Here it is !". Peh-yan announced with a hint of anticipation.
" Huh, the home EC room ?". Takemichi muttered, perplexed.
Peh-yan gulped nervously," I just can't stand that girl".
