Girls are dumb anyway, especially girlfriends.

They're greedy and annoying and rude and they expect you to do so much for you even though sometimes you just can't. They blame you for everything and it doesn't matter if it's not your fault, they still blame you.

I don't know how many of you have had girlfriends before, but I've had quite a few in my lifetime and they're all the same. They get mad when you don't care enough and they get mad when you care too much and then they get mad at you for apologizing.

I hate it, this is why I've always kind of preferred casual hookups and one night stands more than relationships.

Relationships are stupid.

Michael saved his work, adding in that one part in to the beginning of his book, which was very close to being finished. He only had a few more things to edit and add in and then he would be done.

He closed down his laptop and got up from the table and walked through the kitchen, down the hall and into Calum's room. Calum and Ashton were both laying down on Calum's bed, but neither of them were speaking. All three boys were upset about something different, but only Michael was open to talking about it.

"Hey." Michael said, stepping into the room.

"Oh, hey." Calum looked up, barely acknowledging Michael as he walked over to the bed and climbed on. He laid down in between Calum and Ashton, who still hadn't said anything.

"Am I interrupting something?" Michael asked. Calum and Ashton seemed so tense, he didn't really know what was going on. Apparently going on multiple vacations within a few weeks could really cause someone to lose touch of reality.

Calum let out a short laugh, shaking his head. "No, not at all."

"There's nothing going on here that would be worth interrupting." Ashton scoffed, folding his arms across his chest.

"You're such a drama queen, calm down." Calum snapped at Ashton, looking up at the ceiling again.

"I am not a drama queen." Ashton said blankly, also staring up at the ceiling. "You know whose a drama queen? Your little boyfriend is a drama queen."

"No he's not, shut up." Calum rolled his eyes.

Michael felt a little awkward being in the middle of this, but he was doing his best to understand what was going on. He'd always teased Calum and Ashton about them being in a secret relationship, but now Michael was beginning to think that they there really had been something between them.

"I heard him when he was over here the other morning, he was practically crying over the fact that you wouldn't make him breakfast." Ashton continued, "I swear to God, that kid is almost as bad as his sister."

"No one is as bad as Lily." Michael sighed, speaking up.

"Oh yeah, what's going on with you two?" Calum asked, even though he should already know. Michael came home three days before and ranted about Lily for hours, but Calum and Ashton weren't paying much attention.

"I don't really know." Michael shrugged.

He and Lily were still together, but things were weird now. They hadn't seen each other since their fight and Michael was kind of thankful for that. They both needed their space and it was good for them to spend some time away from each other for a while.

Michael texted Lily the other morning just to tell her that he still loved her and that when she was ready to talk he would be too, and she responded back saying something similar, but they didn't talk for too long because it was awkward.
