Lily probably should have felt a little uncomfortable when her brother texted her and said that he'd be spending the night with Calum while she was spending the night with Michael, all of them in the same apartment, but she wasn't.
If Calum and Luke did anything, Lily didn't hear it. She was too distracted by her own thoughts to worry about what her brother was doing with his friend/friend with benefits/maybe boyfriend.
It was around two in the morning and Lily was wide awake. Michael was asleep, he'd passed out about an hour before but Lily didn't even mind. She hadn't even paid attention to him while he was awake, Lily was worrying too much about pretty much everything to even have a proper conversation with Michael.
She couldn't stop thinking about her blog and everything she'd ever written about Michael, and she was scared that Michael was going to hate her forever if he found out. She wished that she could go back in time and stop herself from even starting the blog in the first place.
Lily kept tossing and turning in bed, thinking that maybe if she just moved around enough she'd be able to distract herself from her thoughts.
"Babe." Michael whispered, his voice raspy. He tightened his grip around Lily's waist, bringing her closer to him.
"What?" Lily asked quickly, flinching when Michael spoke. "I thought you were asleep, what are you doing?"
"You keep moving around." Michael chuckled, leaning over and kissing Lily's neck.
"Oh, sorry." Lily said softly. "I'll try to stay still. Go back to sleep."
"Uh, okay." Michael mumbled, shifting a little until he was in a more comfortable position. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Lily assured him. She didn't want Michael to worry. "I just can't sleep."
"Hmm." Michael hummed, resting his head on Lily's shoulder. "Alright."
He fell asleep again right after that, not bothering to say anything else to Lily or question if anything was wrong. Once again, she didn't mind. Lily knew that if Michael started asking her about what was going on she would end up accidentally telling him all about her blog.
Lily finally started to fall asleep at one point but was woken up by yelling in the room next to her. She really didn't think that Luke and Calum being in the apartment was going to be a problem, especially since they'd been almost completely silent all night, but who the hell starts fighting at almost 3 in the morning?
She elbowed Michael in the side, not feeling bad at all about waking him up. Lily was jealous that Michael was such a deep sleeper, he never woke up because of someone yelling or even talking too loud.
"What, babe? What is it?" Michael asked quickly, sitting up. He rubbed his eyes with his hands, still seeming like he was half asleep.
"Luke and Calum are being loud." Lily frowned, folding her arms across her chest. She sat up as well, watching Michael try to wake himself up.
"Oh." Michael said and let out a big sigh. The room was completely dark, but Lily could still see Michael rolling his eyes. "Luke never lasts very long, they'll be done in a couple minutes."
"No, they're not having sex." Lily cringed, shaking her head. She still didn't like how open everyone now was about Luke and Calum. She was fine with their relationship or whatever it was, she just hated talking about it. "They're fighting."
"Oh, really?" Michael questioned, cocking his head to the side. He listened for a moment, then nodded. "I guess you're right, they're fighting."
"Go tell them to shut up." Lily demanded, giving Michael a small shove towards the other side of the bed.
