Lily woke up that morning with Michael in bed next to her, hogging all of the blankets like usual. Lily smiled as she watched him sleep for a moment, his bare back slowly moving up and down with his breathing. She was so in love with him.

They'd spent almost the whole night talking, trying to work things out like they should have done in the first place. Lily cried, Michael cried, and they both realized how stupid they'd been for the last couple weeks.

Michael had his reasons for writing the book, and even though Lily's feelings were probably always going to be hurt because of what Michael said, she was finally ready to forgive him and move on.

Lily apologized for writing mean things about Michael on her blog to try and get back at him for the book. She offered to take down the blog completely, but Michael said that wasn't necessary. The blog was a part of Lily's life, it was something she had been doing since way before she met Michael, and he wanted her to keep it.

Everything was okay, for now at least. Lily knew that there were going to many more fights in the future, and her and Michael would probably break up a few more times because that was just them, but it was always going to turn out okay in the end. Michael and Lily would always find their way back to each other.

"Hey, you're awake." Michael mumbled, stirring Lily from her thoughts. He rolled onto his side, blinking a few times as his eyes adjusted to the light.

"Yeah, I just woke up a few minutes ago." Lily said quietly.

"Did you sleep okay?" Michael asked, running his hands through his messy hair.

"Uh huh." Lily nodded as she crawled across the bed until she was on top of Michael, straddling him.

"I slept great." Michael smirked, moving his hands to Lily's hips. "I think I've slept on the couch every night for the last few weeks. Or if I was ever in my own bed I hardly got any sleep."

"Why?" Lily asked, cocking her head to the side.

"I don't know." Michael shrugged. "My bed just felt... Empty."

"I'm sorry." Lily said, biting down on her bottom lip.

"It's alright. It's not even your fault." Michael shook his head, chuckling softly. "If it's anyone's fault it's mine."

Lily stayed silent for a minute, her eyes wandering around the room. Things didn't seem different, even though they probably should have. After spending such a long time apart Lily and Michael were still perfectly comfortable with each other, even in silence.

"I can't believe you climbed up the fire escape." She finally said, trying to hold back her laugher.

"I needed to." Michael said innocently, a small smile spreading into his lips. "You told your doorman not to let me upstairs, I had no other choice."

"It was just so funny having you call me and say that you were outside of my bedroom window." Lily giggled. "And then you were all out of breath and it got even funnier."

"Have you ever tried going up the fire escape before? I know Luke has, but I'm pretty sure you haven't!" Michael laughed. "It's a lot of work!"

"No, I've never gone up the fire escape before." Lily said, rolling her eyes. "I didn't sneak out like Luke did when I was a teenager. I just walked out the front door, my parents didn't care about me."
