"I just don't know what to do." Michael said out loud. He was laying upside down on the couch, letting all of the blood rush to his head.
"What?" Calum yelled from the kitchen. Ashton was out and Calum was attempting to make himself something to eat.
"I don't know what to do!" Michael raised his voice so Calum could hear him.
"Why? What's wrong?" Calum asked. He walked back into the living room, holding a bowl of cereal.
"This book is going nowhere." Michael sighed, rubbing his hands over his face. He flipped over so he was laying on the floor now instead of the couch, waiting a few seconds before sitting up so he didn't get dizzy.
"What do you mean?" Calum questioned.
"It's supposed to a guide, I guess, for guys who can't seem to pick up girls." Michael explained. "And I was using my experiences with Lily to kind of help me out, you know?"
"Yeah, I know." Calum rolled his eyes.
"But now I don't know what to do because I'm not having a hard time with Lily, she's my girlfriend and we're in a serious relationship now." Michael whined, taking out his phone and checking to see if he had any new text messages.
"Well what did you expect? It's Lily Hemmings, she's not the type to play hard to get." Calum scoffed. "If a guy shows interest in her she'll jump on them right away."
"Don't say that." Michael mumbled. That was his girlfriend Calum was talking about, not just anyone.
"I'm just saying, Michael, you didn't exactly pick the right girl for this." Calum shrugged. He sat down on the floor in front of Michael, still holding the bowl of cereal.
"I know, Calum, I've realized that." Michael groaned. "I need to finish this book, though, I've already contacted all of my people about it, I can't back out now."
"Then find a new girl, Michael, I don't know." Calum shrugged. "Write about how to keep a girlfriend, since you're apparently so good at that too."
"How to keep a girlfriend?" Michael questioned to himself, cocking his head to the side. That was a pretty good idea, but Michael wasn't exactly sure if it would work.
"Yeah. I mean, once you pick up a girl you have to have some kind of strategy on how to keep her, right?" Calum asked.
"I don't know, Cal, I'm not sure if that's really what the people are looking for. I'm supposed to be writing about - " Michael said and was quickly cut off.
"Why are you even asking me for help if you're just going to shut down every idea I give you?" Calum snapped, standing up from the floor. "You don't want to write about how to play girls into sleeping with you and you don't want to write about how to keep a steady girlfriend."
"Calum - "
"No, shut up." Calum said, shaking his head. He stomped his foot on the ground, which just annoyed Michael even more because Calum was acting so immature about this. "You've been really annoying since you started dating Little Miss I've Had 26 Boyfriends and I'm sick of it."
"I haven't been annoying!" Michael protested. He stood up as well and followed Calum into the kitchen. "You've been the annoying one, every time Lily is around you bring up the book!"
"Because what you're doing to her is mean and she needs to know about it!" Calum yelled. He threw the bowl down in the sink. "I know that you have no intentions of actually hurting her but I know that you're definitely going to make her upset when she finds out about this."
