Michael was panting as Lily climbed off of him, getting under the covers once again.
"Wow." He breathed out, running his fingers through his hair, that was sweaty and sticking to his forehead. "Can you wake me up like that every morning?"
"Maybe." Lily shrugged. She rolled over, burying her face in Michael's chest.
"You're the best." Michael sighed, his hand slowly rubbing up and down Lily's bare back.
"I know." Lily giggled, leaving a few short kisses on Michael's chest. He still didn't understand how she was able to function this early in the morning, Michael was sure that he'd still be sleeping now if slowly hadn't woken him up.
"Let's stay in today." Michael suggested, grabbing Lily and pulling her so she was laying on top of him again.
"Okay." Lily answered quickly, which was oddly out of character. She usually hated staying in the house all day, she liked going out and would always put up a fight when Michael asked to just have a lazy day.
"Really?" Michael questioned, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Yes." Lily nodded slowly, laughing again. She seemed confused, like she wasn't sure why Michael was even making a big deal about this.
"You're not even going to put up a fight?" Michael laughed, tucking some of Lily's hair behind her ear.
"Would you like me to?" Lily giggled, rolling off of Michael once again. She got off of the bed, picking up her clothes from the floor. "I can definitely start an argument if you want me to."
"No, that's alright." Michael chuckled, sitting up. He wondered why Lily was getting dressed if they were planning on staying in all day, but Michael didn't question it.
"Why did you think that I was going to put up a fight?" Lily asked, pulling Michael's sweatshirt on over her head.
"Because you hate staying at home all day." Michael said. "I honestly expected you to ask if we could go shopping or something."
"Oh." Lily said slowly as she put on a pair of leggings, one of the many pieces of clothing that she kept at Michael's apartment. "Well, I don't really care. You want to stay in today so that's fine."
"Oh, alright." Michael shrugged, glad that he didn't have to fight for this like he usually did.
"Do you want some breakfast?" Lily asked, jumping on Michael's bed again and climbing on top of him. She was being very clingy today and Michael was enjoying it, so he didn't want to do anything to mess that up.
"Breakfast would be great." Michael smiled.
"Okay!" Lily said excitedly, kissing Michael quickly before jumping off of him. "What do you want? Pancakes? Or, I just learned how to make French toast! Or - "
"Whatever you feel like making, babe." Michael chuckled, sitting up again and watching Lily run out of the room without another word.
Michael finally got out of bed a few minutes later and started to get dressed, figuring that he should go out to the kitchen to supervise Lily while she made breakfast.
"She's been acting weird lately."
"Shit, Ashton, can't you knock?" Michael groaned, turning around to see Ashton leaning up against the doorframe.
"I'm sorry." Ashton sighed, entering the room and sitting down on the edge of Michael's bed.
"It's fine, it's fine." Michael shook his head, picking up a t-shirt from the floor and putting it on. He realized what Ashton had just said and looked up at him. "How has Lily been acting weird?"
