Parker was terrified. For the first time in a long time, the constant feeling of numbing fear that she had been feeling in her gut was replaced by the paralyzing terror of the threat they faced. This was worse than the Governor or any walker, this was an invisible killer that threatened them all and was within their walls. She was pacing the fields while Daryl was digging graves, she wanted to keep her distance since she wasn't feeling great.

She wanted to help Daryl but he said he'd rather do it alone and she didn't want to risk his safety if she got the sickness, so she kept a safe distance but kept him company while he worked. However, it was kind of the other way around. Of course, she was more worried about the people in the prison than having a conversation with him. Daryl noticed her pacing but didn't say anything about it, trying to keep her distracted by keeping her talking. He was finally able to get her to stop walking and sit down right as Maggie's voice was heard from across the field.

"Rick!" Maggie shouted, "Daryl! Parker!" Parker turned her head to see the walkers clamoring against the fence, the logs holding it upright shaking dangerously as they began to give way. Daryl jumped out of the grave he was digging, pulled Parker up to her feet, grabbed his crossbow, and ran after his wife as she ran across the field. "The noise drew 'em out! And now this part is startin' to give!" Maggie yelled as she killed a walker through the fence. As she ran through the gates into the yard, Parker grabbed one of the sharpened pipes they had been using to kill walkers through the fence, running towards the collapsing fence which was leaning more and more as more walkers pressed against it.

More people joined them when Parker leveled her tube with a walker's face before pushing it through the fence, killing it. It was useless to do so, because the more walkers they killed, the more that took their place. Maggie stabbed a walker and struggled to get the metal pipe out, falling to the ground when it suddenly came loose. Glenn rushed to help her but she held out a hand to stop him.

"Maggie!" Parked screamed as a walker reached for her leg.

"Don't," Maggie said sharply when Parker had tried to kill it. "We're supposed to stay away from each other." She pushed herself up with a grunt, stabbing the walker through its skull angrily. Parker heard Sasha yelling over the growling walkers.

"Are you seeing this?!" Following Sasha's gaze, Parker saw the dead rats on the ground.

"What the fuck? Is someone feeding these things?" No one had answered her, too distracted by the fence that began to lean even more to the point of walkers being able to climb it. Eventually, this resulted in the group abandoning their tools and pushing against it, trying to hold out until they could come up with a plan. Daryl called out to them as the fence dipped,  more and more walkers pressed up against it.

"It's gonna give! It's gonna give!"

"Everybody back! Come on, back, now!" Daryl yelled over everyone, all of them slowly moving away from the fence.

"If the fence keeps bending in like that the walkers are going to start getting over it." Parker panted, hands on her knees as they all stepped away from the fence.

"Daryl, get the truck," Rick looked over at the pigs and then at the fence. "I know what to do." Parker knew this was difficult for her brother because he no longer wanted to be the leader. He didn't want the constant pressure, so he handed the council the reins he had held for so long. Rick had almost lost Carl because of his sometimes stupid plans and ideas and realized how bad it was for him and everyone around him. Rick knew he needed a break, and that leading again wasn't something he wanted to do, but for the sake of everyone in the prison, he had to make the hard choice. When Daryl ran to get the truck, Rick went to his pigs.

They weren't good for people to eat, so he and Parker loaded them into a box, dragged the box to the trailer hitched to the back of the truck, sitting on the edge of it as Daryl drove. Grabbing the side of the trailer to keep from falling, Parker shared a look with Rick as Daryl drove towards the walkers. Once they were close enough, Parker carefully stood up, cupping her hands around her mouth and yelling to get the walker's attention.
