Since there were only two seats, Parker was forced to sit on Daryl's lap for the rest of the drive, which wasn't a problem. The only problem was how small the front of the truck was. As Rick twisted the keys around his finger and started the engine, Daryl stuck his hand out the window, flipping Jesus off in the process as they drove away.

"So long, you prick!" He shouted, letting his arm hang out the window. "You still got the soda?" She nodded towards her bag on the floor at his feet.

"He wasn't that bad," Parker said once they turned a corner. "He could have killed me, but he didn't."

"Right," Rick simply nodded, looking at Parker as if he had just remembered she was there. "Now that that's sorted out. It's your turn."

"Oh, fantastic." She muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes.

"What the hell were you thinkin'?" Daryl asked her and she groaned, annoyed with the repeated questions. "He coulda killed you."

"Again, I had a gun. Even if he could've, it would have been a stupid idea with you two on our asses." Parker pointed out the obvious. "And everything was fine. I talked to him like a human being instead of jumping him from behind and we actually managed to have a conversation." She waved her hands dramatically. "Ooh, a conversation. A foreign concept for your dumbasses."

"Don't do it again." Rick ended the conversation there.

"I don't know how you plan on stopping me, but whatever you say," She replied sarcastically. "But hey, on the bright side, that whole thing was a blast. I felt like I was in a Fast and Furious movie."

"Well, you ain't," Daryl stated, still angry about it. "You got more than just yourself to be worryin' about."

"Yeah, but am I dead right now?" She countered, checking her pulse. "No? That's what I thought. I'm perfectly fine. And so is the baby." Daryl took a bar of chocolate out of his pocket, unwrapping it before offering a piece to Parker. She ate it straight from his fingers and Rick gagged, acting like a child.

"Do you two mind? Can you not do that right here?"

"What? Eat?" Parker raised an eyebrow at him.

"All that romantic crap," He shuddered. "It's nasty."

"Shut up," Parker shoved his arm. "Now you know how Carl and I feel when you're with Michonne all the time." Rick rolled his eyes. "Honestly, there is so much sexual tension between you. You're like teenagers." Daryl choked on the piece of chocolate he was eating while Rick's face turned beet red.

"Work on your filtration." Rick scolded, shaking his head. "Anyways. Things still worked out. Today still is the day." Daryl handed Rick a piece of chocolate while Parker was distracted by what was outside the window.

"Look at that," She pointed at a barn.

"Yeah, a barn," Daryl sounded confused on why she felt the need to point it out.

"A barn we should go check out," She elaborated and Rick turned in the direction of it. There was a thud on the roof and Rick's face took on a puzzled expression.

"You hear that?"

"Hear wha-" He shushed her and she snapped her mouth closed, waiting for whatever he was talking about. He jerked the truck to the left and the thudding continued. Parker turned down the music, looking up at the roof as she waited for it again. "You don't think..?"

"I think that son of a bitch is on the roof," Daryl muttered angrily.

"Hold on," Rick warned them, giving them a second to grab ahold of something. Daryl wrapped an arm around Parker, hanging onto the (Oh shit) handle above the window. Rick hit the brakes causing a body to roll off the roof, down the windshield, and land on the ground in front of them with a painful groan that could be heard from inside the truck.
