There are some people in this world who take joy and pride in nourishing the land, taking care of the very land that took care of them, repaying the debt they feel needed to pay, showing their gratitude and doing to the land what it did to them.
the farmers in Longstone are especially careful when taking care of the land, careful to make sure everything is taken care of, they believe it's their responsibility to repay the land for providing food for them and a repayment for the land allowing them to rest upon it.
Longstone is filled with cruelty and wickedness, but some people posses the love to care for those who cared for them, people like Hinata do indeed exist in Longstone, well.. it's been a long time, but they have once roamed the earth, they have once breathed in the air he breaths.
The people who nourish the land know far more than most first assume, they are like a broken mirror. They only show fragments of the truth and beauty.
They know far more than one would assume, they know the history of demon's more than most would like to admit, but.. not many realize they know the truth, the truth of how there's more than just demons and angels, it's not just black and white, there's more then the human mind knows of.
And the humans who learn of the truth, are never fortunate enough to live longer than time's lies.
Some know the truth, many humans have learned, but not many have lived to spread their truth, demon's aren't fond of their history being revealed, like a veil leaving a brides face.
Hinata may learn the truth one day, not on his own free will. He will learn, his blood will reveal the secrets of everything, his innocence can only protect him for so long, the past will always find it's way to the present.
Hopefully his blood will only spill cold, not with heat. As the heat means he still lives.
His shoes made small patters as he walked on the ground, his brown eyes focused in on the fallen farmer, upon approach he kept one hand by his hand and reached his other hand out with a smile.
"Are you alright, sir?" Hinata softly asked, his hand remaining extended for the farmer to reach out to if he so desired.
The farmer's sister, or so Hinata assumed with their similar looks. had looked over to him and back to her brother, who looked up at Hinata and softly reached his hand out, clasping his hand over Hinata's hand slowly arising only to now look down at Hinata.
The man smiled and slowly let go of his hand. "I'm quite alright, but thank you." The man spoke, his voice was soft and smooth, his eyes remained fixated on Hinata's face.
"That's wonderful, are you able to save your crops?" Hinata questioned, his eyes tearing away from the man's face and upon the basket on the ground, with crops spilled around it.
His smile brightened upon seeing the farmer's sister picking up the crops and examining them all, putting the most salvageable ones in the basket, her blue eyes remained on the vegetable's as she spoke up, "I do believe most of these are able to be saved and sold, but we lost a clean amount." she spoke softly. her lips pressed into a thin line, hopefully she wasn't annoyed.
"Ah, i see." Hinata smiled apologetically, he turned back to the man. "Are you positive you're alright? You took quite the fall." he asked once more, his small smile showing happiness, but his eyes showing faint worry.
