"I see you.."

The demon purred softly, the words gently running off his lips like a sweet song meant to help young ones sleep after nightmares beyond the mind's capability.

"I knew you would, you've always had such keen eyesight, but you've always lacked the ability to knock your confidence down a peg." The cat like demon replied softly, removing himself from the tree's ability to hide him, he stared at the grey haired demon before him.

"Oh pleas Kenma, we both know you didn't come here alone, he would never let you go anywhere on your own." Sugawara smiled small, though his patience was already being tested by just mentioning Kuroo.

"Oya oya~ I should've known a demon like you has always been rather intelligent, though you've never been that strong to follow up with such intelligence." Kuroo purred as he stepped out from behind the tree and stood beside the shorter cat like demon he deemed his closest friend next to Bokuto.

"Hm.. So tell me, why have you two followed me?" Sugawara asked. In his mind, as long as they didn't ask about his little human, he had nothing to fear.

"I apologize, Sugawara. It seems my curiosity is rather.. Aroused today. And when i smelled that kimono Bokuto carried, i simply couldn't help but realize the smell itself was close to you." Kenma answered in his usual soft and quiet tone, it was rather impressive to see Kenma say such long sentences, but then again.. This only meant he was intrigued, which Sugawara did not like one bit.

"hm.. Well Kenma, aren't you aware that curiosity kills the cat?" Sugawara inquired with his hands slowly folding behind his back.

"I'm aware of that, but not every cat goes down so easily. Especially a curious one." stated the thin demon, to which the taller one, Kuroo. Simply and silently agreed with, while holding that arrogant smirk on his lips. 

"Listen Sugawara, i have no issue with you. I don't like intimidating you in anyway but-" before Kuroo could finished Sugawara spoke up in a sweet tone. "Good, because you don't intimidate me." Stated Sugawara.

Which earned him a soft chuckle from Kuroo. "Not yet that is, but listen. I don't have a problem with you general speaking that is. But that doesn't mean a problem won't arise in between us, you know how much Daichi and i tend to not get along. So i'll ask a few questions for you today.. Is that alright?" Kuroo hummed in response with an amused grin.

"I believe i don't actually have a chance to say no, as you'll just pester me again and again. So go ahead, spill the questions you desire answers to. But i doubt you'll get what you desire easily." Sugawara replied with a soft smile.

"lovely.. i've been meaning to ask a few things.. Does Daichi know you're out here tonight?" Asked the black haired demon.

"well of course he does, it would be rather.. pitiful if he didn't while knowing the type of demon Daichi is." Sugawara replied in a casual tone, his voice held up a facade of a demon who held confidence and arrogance mixed with strength and poise, while the heart of this demon, was filed with doubt and wavering strength that he knew wouldn't stand a chance against two demons.

Yes a demon like Daichi or Iwaizumi, could defend themselves against two demons at once. But a demon like Sugawara could only go so far against two with no help from his foes. But then again, Sugawara wasn't one to ask for help, he knew Kuroo was confident, but could his confidence truly bring him to victory?
