Lena's POV

I was peacefully doing some laundry when I hear a knock on the door. I was wondering who it was and since Stef was doing something in the backyard, I get downstairs to open.

"Oh, Jenna! Hi!" I say as she gives me a hard glare.

"Oh... It's you..." she says, exaggerating her sigh as I shake my head at her for, she's still angry with me for not calling her when Stef got in her accident, and then telling her not to come because Stef wasn't ready.

I kind of know that she's not that angry with me, it's just that she was very frustrated, and right now is the first time that she can get it out because it's been quite a while since we last saw her.

I wonder how she knows that we live back in that house though... our other friends must have told her since they actually called to see how we were, especially Shane and Chandra, along with Kelly.

"Oh come on, I'm sorry okay? I know you were worried, I just... those last months have been hard on both me and Stef..." I explain.

"I can imagine, that's when you usually need friends actually." she says as it's my time to sigh now, for I'm going to hear about that for some time now.

"You're not going to let that go, huh?" I ask, just to be sure.

"Nope." She states as I sigh and open the door wider.

"Alright... would you like to come inside to see Stef?" I ask for I guess that's why she's here, and I hope Stef won't be too overwhelmed because I know she gets nervous when she has to see people that she's supposed to know, that knows her, but that she doesn't remember at all.

"Yes... But is she... does she remember anything at all?" she asks, surprisingly nervous herself as my face soften, for I know how much Stef means to her. They are best friends. It broke Jenna's heart when Stef refused to speak to her even after she apologies for insulted me when the Monte thing happened.

"No, she doesn't... I don't know if she ever will actually... but hey, don't worry about that... just, let's see her, she's in the back yard." I say, trying to be reassuring, for I know how hard it is when a loved one don't even remember your existence...

"Okay.... I'm still not talking to you though." She says, as I know she's totally faking being mad at me by now.

"If you say so." I tease, not getting a single smile out of her, but eventually, I'll get there.

So we walk through the house, only to find Stef, taking care of Frankie's tree. She always does that now. She pulls out the bad grass around, she prunes the cherry tree and takes care of it, like her baby... It was bittersweet if I'm honest because... well I never got the chance to see Stef taking care of a little baby, I'll never see her hold a little tiny baby that would be ours, in her arms... and I know that it would have been so beautiful to watch...

But it's okay, now we have Stefania... it's not the same as if it was our baby, but it's damn close for we love her so much already...

"Stef?" I say, as she's so taken into her work that she doesn't even turn around.

"Yes, love?" she says softly, still not looking at me.

"Honey, hum... Jenna's here."

"Who?" she asks as at that; she turns around immediately. Usually, Jenna is way louder than that, but right now, she's a bit taken aback, I think.

"Jenna. She's... she's your best friend, I told you about her." I say as Stef looks at Jenna, then at me, then back to her.

"Oh right... hi! Nice to... to meet you?" Stef says awkwardly as Jenna look at her a bit shocked for that thing in the eyes of someone that you know and love, but doesn't recognize you is... it really hurt, but you can't be mad at them, because it's not their fault.
