Sadie's P.O.V
*
Who the fuck gets anxious over lunch. Me apparently. I've picked the table in the corner of the cafe, neatly tucked out of the way. I've already ordered a peach iced tea so I don't get asked to leave especially since Nick might not show now that he's running late.
I pull out my phone and begin to scroll through twitter. I notice that Margo's full name and account username keeps popping up but her account is gone. The fuck is going on. I start to read through the tweets and some are cute and curious, others are just straight up rude, bitchy and mean commenting on Margo without even knowing her.
"Hey Sadie..." that buttery voice is back, I look up to see Nick pulling out his chair and taking a seat opposite me.
"Hey! How are you? How's it going?" Fucking hell I have got to chill. Nicks smiles at me nervously.
"Not too bad, you?" He shifts in his seat getting himself comfortable.
"Yeah I'm doing alright. Was the traffic bad?" I ask Nick who shakes his head.
"Nah, traffic was okay. Something with Margo and Cassidy. I don't really know. Anyways, how long have you been here? I hope you've not been waiting for too long." Nick looks at me apologetically and I smile at him reassuringly.
"Oh no, I've not been here too long. How's the tour going so far?" I ask taking a sip from my drink.
"Oh it's been great! There's such a buzz I get from performing it's amazing. People singing our songs along with us is so surreal. After the U.K we have some Europe tours and then we'll get a bit of a rest once we're back home." Nick tells me and I wish I had as much passion for my work as he does for his.
The waitress makes her way over to our table and takes our food orders aswell as grabbing a drink order for Nick.
"How much longer have you got in the U.K?" I ask Nick.
"Only a few more days."

Nicks P.O.V

I notice Sadie's smile fade at the mention of us only having a few days left in the U.K.
I want to take her hand in my own and tell her that I'm just a call or text away but I don't even know her like that. We're only just starting our friendship.
So I don't. I don't take her hand in my own. I don't tell her I'm just a call or text away. I sit in my seat and smile sadly at her.
I'm so drawn to her, I can't fucking get her out of my head but to entertain those thoughts would be selfish and thoughtless. I know she feels the pull there too, I see it in the way she looks at me. To let us both think that something can happen is unfair. I'd rather have her as a friend than not have her in my life at all.
