Athena Dixon was getting annoyed at her best friend, Seo Changbin. She was trying to cook some breakfast with Carol for the group, but he couldn't keep his hands to himself as he constantly teased her.
"Damn it!" Athena yelped in anger as she felt his fingers poking her side "Changbin! Knock it off!" She growled angrily at him.
Changbin pouted at the glare he was reseaving from his best friend "I'm bored, Thena." He whined as he put his face over his hands and leaned on the table "I'm hungry and I'm bored and Ji is with the Grimes's so-"
"So, it's not my fault that you are bored and that Ji have other friends and leave you behind." She rambled angrily at him "Now let me and Carol finish making breakfast, okay?"
Changbin rolled his eyes at her and leaned back on the chair he was sitting, while crossing his buff arms in front of his chest. Athena couldn't help but snicker at her best friend's behaviour.
It had been a month since the events of Woodbury and the Governor. Rick made the decision to bring everyone from Woodbury back at the prison, since the Governor was gone they couldn't just leave all those kids and old people to fend for themselves.
The prison looked more and more like a place people could live with. They had fresh vegetables and even animals. Right this moment the prison truly looked more like a home.
Athena had currently been helping Carol prepare for breakfast, of course with whining Changbin around them it was a bit hard thing to do, as the other residents sat at the benches. Her father was making his way towards them as Athena flipped bacon on the grill.
"Morning, Daryl." The doctor from Woodbury greeted Athena's father.
"What's up, Dr. S?" A bunch of 'Morning, Daryl's' were heard from all over the place. "Smells good." Daryl said once he made his way to Carol and Athena.
"Just so you know, I liked you first." Carol joked, making the younger Dixon and Changbin both to chuckle.
"Stop." Daryl said, grabbing a bowl and eating some of the bacon "You know Rick brought in a lot of them, too."
"Not recently, I don't think." Athena said, as she handed a bowl to her best friend, whose eyes sparkled happily at the food, as she laughted softly at him.
"Give the stranger sanctuary, keeping people fed, you're gonna have to learn to live with the love." Carol told him.
Daryl nodded "Right."
"I need you guys to see something. Patrick, you want to take over?" Carol asked the nerdy boy, who was around Carl's age.
"Yes, ma'am." Patrick accepted and replayced her position on the stove.
When Athena, Changbin and Daryl went to walked away Patrick called for the oldest Dixon. "Mr. Dixon. I just wanted to thank you both for bringing that deer back yesterday. It was a real treat sir and I'd be honored to shake your hand."
