"Bonjour!" Ally said, greeting strangers as we walked past them on the foreign streets of Paris. "Croissant?" She asked me, offering me some of hers that she'd bought the moment we'd stepped of the plane.

"Oui!" I replied, taking the piece from her hand.

We'd only landed an hour ago and were walking along the streets on our way to our apartment.

"It should be this way." Zoe said, pointing down a road and then another and then another before we landed on a cute little street named 'Charment'. Along the top of the building were fairy lights that replaced the street lamps and lit up the tiny market beneath it, the market had lots of small stools such as fruit and vegetable stools, flower stools and a hot chocolate stool which left a sweet smelling scent in the breeze.

There were also shops lining the quiet roads, a little cafe with an outside garden area with small tables and young waiters, a charity shop, some adorable little clothes shops that weren't famous, yet still looked like they held pretty clothes and one shop in particular caught my attention, a tiny little bookshop hidden among the rest, barely visible behind two large trees. A little old man sat on the pavement outside, absentmindedly playing with his grey beard and he read an ancient looking book.

I made a mental note to go inside that shop later as I followed Ally and Zoe down the road, they both seemed as mesmerised as me by its beauty.

Then, Zoe made a sharp turn left, stopping outside a large, yellow door that was slowly being taken over by ivy.

"Is this our apartment?" Ally asked in disbelief, gazing up at the huge windows.

"Yep, top floor." Zoe said, taking a large key from her bag and unlocking the door with a click.

We all crammed into the building and rushed up the stairs to the top floor.

Another lock, another key, another click, then we all charged in.

The interior was even better than the outside. The walls were coated in warm colours with soft, plump sofas filling the lounge, a huge window that gave an amazing view of some gardens with the Eiffel Tower clear in the background, there were flower pots planted everywhere and two doorways, one led to a modern kitchen which included a full fridge and breakfast stools, the other led to a single bedroom with a huge bed in the centre. There was no door between the lounge and the bedroom but no one cared, we didn't need privacy and it was so adorable!

Behind the bed was a brilliant window seat, stacked with pretty blankets, then in the corner of the room was a door that led to a bathroom which contained a hot-tub sized bath which could literally do everything a hot-tub could do and more.

"I want to live here!" I exclaimed rushing over to the window seat and swinging open the window as wide as I could to watch the fairy lights twinkle.

"I'm never gonna wanna leave!" Ally said, joining me, the slight breeze brushing stray hairs from her face.

"Can we just live here please?" We begged Zoe, literally getting on our hands and knees in front of her.

Zoe laughed and walked off to make us something to eat. "Girls, as much as you enjoy pointing out things in the distance," she called from the kitchen as Ally and I sat on the window seat looking out into the distance, "you did promise to help me get ready for this date..."

"I nearly forgot!" I said, jumping up and putting on my shoes.

"Mum, we'll be back in a minute!" Ally said, joining me in the doorway and cramming her own feet into her shoes.

Zoe didn't have time to reply as we bolted out the door and down the street.

"I'll get the makeup, shoes and accessories, you find the dress!" I said, Ally nodded and we split up into two directions.
