Friday arrived quickly and yet again the plans had changed about the mansion as Ally didn't want to go with bruises all over her face, so the group of us decided to do it next Friday which worked out better as it meant we had more days to go for; its the Halloween holidays, as in we get a week away from school that week.

I strolled into my life skills class and found that Nash wasn't here yet, which was good for me because I didn't really know what was going on with us. Sure we made out and said we missed each other, but does that mean we were dating again? Or was that just something he said in the heat of the moment?

I thought Nash was just late to lesson, however as the clock ticked on, I realised he wasn't going to show up.

Eventually the bell rang and I scurried to maths which I had with Ally.

"Hey!" She called when I walked in, she was wearing some American Apparel shorts with a crop top and her hair down to try cover the bruises and cuts on her face.

"Hi Al, you do realise that you don't need to cover your face right? It's not that bad." I told her honestly, I was expecting it to be worse, but Cameron's idea of putting ice on it right away must've worked.

"Thanks but no thanks. You may think it's okay but if someone like Mahogany sees them, she would not stop with the taunting."

I was about to reply when a pale head exploding with red ringlets entered the room with a sickly sweet laugh, "Oh, Allison!" Mahogany said as she neared our table, "so, I heard that you have a few cuts and bruises on that pretty little face of yours."

Mahogany leaned over and moved a few strands of Ally's hair from her face to reveal the biggest bruise she had along her jaw.

"Oh, what a shame!" May said, putting her bony fingers over her mouth as if she were truly sorry for Allison, "you know what I also heard? I heard that it was your own father! I mean that can't be true, can it?"

Ally just scowled as her and pulled her hair up into a ponytail, revealing all the marks on her skin and holding her chin in the air, without ever taking her eyes from Mahogany.

"Well, I'm gonna take that silence as a yes then! Did he finally realise what a disappointment you are? Oh wait! He already knew, is that why he left in the first place? Wait, no, you and your mother kicked him out because he was a raging drunk that beat her up too!" There was some gasps and whispers around the room and I turned to see people looking at Ally with a variety of expressions.

Some looked disgusted, some sympathetic and others looked smug.

"Eurgh, what a mess of a family!" Mahogany said and snorted.

"You would know." Ally replied coldly, "where's your mother, Mahogany? Last I heard she was in New York with her new family, she hasn't spoken to you in, wait let me see if I can remember exactly, wasn't it 2 years and 4 months?"

Mahoganys face turned whiter than it already was and she puffed out her chest and stormed off to the back of the class, her little posse following closely behind.

"Hey guys! Can I squeeze on next to-" Ash said quickly, rushing into the classroom as she was nearly late, "wait, what did I miss?"

I looked at Ally who was glaring at the board ahead as if it had murdered her family (well her mum, I don't think she'd care quite as much about her dad).

"It doesn't matter. Mahogany was just being her usual self." I told her, tapping the seat beside me so that she could sit down.

After break I went to my next lesson and then my next without taking notice of anything, I don't think I would have even noticed if someone had thrown a bucket of water over my head, I was like a zombie.
