*Ally's POV*

I woke up feeling gross, my neck was bent into an awkward position, Aimee's leg was pinning me down and the blankets were suffocating me where they'd somehow got over my head.

I pushed Aimee's leg of of me, but apparently I'd pushed to hard and kind of flung Amelia over the side of the swing and onto the wooden decking below.

"Sorry!" I called to her whilst she groaned.

She sat up with her blonde hair falling onto her face in loose waves as she did.

"You want a coffee?" I asked, she nodded.

"You want me to get you one?" She nodded again.

"You gonna fall asleep if I leave you alone?" She nodded once more.

"Not gonna happen then, we have school, c'mon!" I told her, taking her hand and pulling her to her feet, all the while she barely opened her eyes a squint and helped less than a cow would help cook beef burgers.

"Morning J." I called to her brother who was stuffing cornflakes into his mouth as if his life depended on it.

"I didn't know you stayed here last night?" He replied, giving us a full display of his breakfast.

"Well, you do now." I told him with a smirk and started to help myself to the Ren family's food unit.

"I can't believe you're gonna leave me here... All alone... Bored..." I sighed dramatically to my mum as she was putting her shoes on for her late work shift after school that evening.

"Ally, stop acting so traumatised, I'll only be a few hours." Mum told me, rolling her eyes and standing up to leave.

"ALL BY MYSELF!" I belted out as she opened the front door, "DONT WANNA BE" she walked across the path, "ALL BY MYSELF" she got in her care and I skipped the lyrics to the longest, loudest note in the entire song, "ANYMOREEEEEEEE!" And with that she drove away.

I laughed at myself and hopped back inside, picking up the phone and calling Amelia.

"What's up?" She asked, picking up after the first ring.

"the ceiling, you?" I replied sarcastically.

"Oh, sorry miss Sassy pants." She muttered back, I could practically see her rolling her eyes on the other end of the phone.

"You should be, loser." I told her with a smirk.

"Well if that's how you're gonna be.." She started and then hung up.

"Bitch." I said aloud, laughing, then I called her cell again.

"Ready to apologise?" She asked.

"Not gonna happen chicka!" I promised, she laughed.

"well at least I tried I guess."

"Uh huh. Anyways, did you speak to Ash today about that rumour going around that-"

I was interrupted by a banging on the front door.

"What was that?" Ally asked through the phone speaker.

I told her to sh and listened for a moment.

Silence.

"I don't know, probably some stupid kids." I replied, getting up to look out the window, "anyway what I was saying, did Ashley tell you about that rumour that the really nerdy girl in your science has asked for a school uniform to be put in place, I mean I don't know if-"
